Greetings Seibertronians! We have a monster sized review to share with you today! Fellow Seibertron user, -Kanrabat-, has let us know that fellow Seibertron user, and YouTube toy reviewer, PrimeVsPrime has uploaded his review for HasLab's Unicron!
HasLab's Unicron is a behemoth of a Transformer, taking the title away from Titans Returns Titan Class Fortress Maximus! The toy is also the most expensive officially licensed Transformers ever created, costing near $600. Fans who backed the Chaos Bringer will all recieve their copies soon enough.

Greetings, fellow Seibertronians! With Wave 2 of Kingdom starting to trickle out overseas, it was inevitable that we'd get some figure reviews before long. Thanks to regular reviewer PrimeVsPrime, we have a great look at one of the most anticipated figures from the line, Predacon Dinobot!
We get some great views of Dinobot in both modes, and can see that at least in robot mode, he's very well articulated. His raptor mode does, unfortunately, suffer a bit from some odd proportions and details.
So now that you can see how he transforms, and can see how he looks in both modes, what do you think? Are you going to be adding this honor-bound Predacon to your collection when he makes an appearance on store shelves? Let us know what you think below, and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
The Transformers Kingdom wave 2 core and deluxe class figures are out in France. They were found at the store Carrefour. TF fan transform75 made a video review for the core class Megatron figure he picked up there. It's in French, but it gives a good idea of what is in store for those who are interested.
Hello
I may be one of the first to post a video review (in French) of Core class Megatron from Kingdom.
Part of the second wave core class, it is perfect for titan and commander class size like SkyLynx and Scorponok
Deluxe and Core class wave 2 has been released here in France.
Enjoy the visuals
Greetings Seibertronians! In perfect timing with the Transformers animated movie's 35th anniversary, Ultra Magnus is set to hit retail. This Earth Mode version is a retool of the Ultra Magnus that was released back in Siege (and in the Netflix subline with a new deco). This retool brings the robot mode (and the inner white prime robot mode) back in line with the G1 toon, and the alt mode recieved work.
Fellow Seibertron user, PrimeVsPrime has managed to secure one and has reviewed it for the world to see.
Check out the embedded review below:
Thanks to Seibertron user, Tuned Agent, for sharing this news.
Will you be getting this Magnus? Or are you planning on sticking with the Siege, or even Combiner Wars, versions of the character?
Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
On February first, Hasbro shipped out the Trasformers WFC Unicron to retailers in China, like Robot Kingdom. You can see an image of the the boxes being ready for distribution in one of their Asian warehouses below. Hobby Mizer also got their hands on some and have made a review for all of us. While it is in Cantonese, they include bullet points in English throughout the video.
So we know Unicron is done and shipping to retailers, hopefully this means everyone who ordered one is closer to getting a shipping notice themselves. Let us know what you think of the toy when it comes your way.
Greetings Seibertronians! Still on the fence about the latest reveal in the Transformers Generations Selects line, Deluxe Class Deep Cover? Well, let's see if any of these reviews in this round up and help bring you to a decision about this Disclose inspired figure!
Finally, fellow Seibertron user, and YouTube toy reviewer himself, Chuckdawg1999, offers his views:
Have you preordered Deep Cover? Are you building a lambo army? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user Turned Agent, has let us know that PrimeVsPrime (fellow Seibertron user and YouTube toy reviewer) has uploaded a review of the recently revealed Deep Cover!
Deep Cover is a predominantly black and blue redeco of the Siege Deluxe Class Sideswipe mould. The colour scheme comes from Takara's pre-transformers line, Diaclone, the same as with other redeco uses of the mould like Tigertrack.

For those who watched the first season of Netflix's Transformers series, do you remember a part where the autobots go to the Sea of Rust and are attacked by a sparkless (aka zombie) Decepticon that looks like Barricade? Well if not, then we have an image to serve as a refresher below so that you can see what this new toy is referring to. Kremzeek reviews has a video review up for this sparkless Barricade toy. It is part of the Walmart exclusive third wave of Netflix deluxe figures. There should be more sparkless themed figures coming, though we have yet to see them.
There may be spoilers to those who never watched the first episode of Beast Wars
I often see older fans ask for a straight up G1 reboot that is as close to possible to the original and I always think it would serve of no use. We already have lots of G1 reboots (like Cyberverse and Netflix's WFC) and if that's not G1 enough for you, then the original show is still there. With this first issue of Beast Wars, all that is reinforced for me. I am a huge Beast Wars fan and I never needed a remake of the first episode's opening segment. And yet, now we have one. So yeah, if you watched the first 10 minutes of the first episode of Beast Wars, very little in the comic will feel new. And the fact that it has random new characters makes that even more odd. So it's a faithful retelling, only not, which just makes it feel off. To all the Beast Wars fans out there, let me know if this scene rings a bell?
Most of the characterizations are as you'd imagine, with Optimus Primal being the one with the biggest change. He is far more of a hot head here, hoping for something exciting to happen and a shoot first kind of guy. That difference was interesting, as was seeing Megatron get the golden disk (though fans had already seen the Club's take on that in the past as well). There isn't much in terms of story beyond that since as soon as they get their beast modes, the issue just stops. What we get in terms of story is not bad at all, but it is a complete retread so that we can proceed to more stories within the exact same premise. I am pretty sure that the following issues will be different stories than what we saw (at least not as identical) but the fact that we had to go through all the motions again wasn't exciting. Especially not with this art accompanying it.
So let's get to the art. As with the story itself, it is not bad, at all. As a sequential artist, Josh Burcham is a beast (ha!), and I really liked seeing all the characters in their Cybertronian bodies first. It's something I always wanted to see in the original show and it was fun guessing who is who.
All that good stuff aside, I just didn't feel this Scotty Young type art style was the right fit. It also feels very bare. The backgrounds themselves were rather bland in this comic. And the lack of detail simply does not work with the organic beast modes, some of which look terrible (especially the new Nyx character). There's a part dedicated to explaining the fur found on Primal's gorilla body and yet all we see is just black with some non contrasting flecks. It felt like the writing was at odds with the art or Burcham simply took too much on by providing every aspect of the art from "penciling" to colouring.
In the end, the issue was ok. Not great, but not bad either. Nothing new or exciting for me as a Beast Wars fan but I will definitely give it a chance since I can see how the repetition here could be a necessary evil to set up a similar premise to the show we all love. And the art is the same as the cover we have seen for months. If you were not on board then this issue won't change your mind.
I give this issue 3 gorilla hairs out of 5
