Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Scottyp, we have confirmation that wave 8 of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise legion class has hit US retail, more specifically, in Raleigh, NC! The figures Scott spotted were as follows: Ratchet (in new packaging), Blizzard mode Drift, and Groundbuster (not pictured). Check out the image Scotty has provided down below, and check out Seibertron's galleries of the other RID Legion figures.

I found single carded Back and Ransack yesterday. There's a problem, though, I found Back at TJ Maxx and Ransack at Marshalls, they're already at close out! Nuts! I blame Ghostbusters

Hello Seibertronians! We've got another Robots in Disguise sighting for you today, this time of the 5th wave of deploy-able Minicons! Coming from user Counterpunch, just after ScottP sighted some RID legion figures a few days ago. These little figures, consisting of Ransack, Glacius, and Scortch-strike Jetstorm, were all found in Metaire, Louisiana at Marshall's for $6.99! Wait, there was a wave three in stores? I never seen anything other than one and two. That was only just a week or two ago as well. I've seen the four packs though but not any of the singles. I'd rather they just keep releasing them in singles though as I actually like the translucent armor and weapons and the four packs only have those for two of them.

Wave 3 and 4 were both found at merket six stores like Ross and Marshalls.
The bigger stores sold off their inventory probably due to the line's weaponizer rebranding which these minicons are not a part of.

I pretty regularly check Ross, TJ Maxx, Big Lots and Marshalls and haven't seen any of these from any wave. Last week I had the opportunity to check a 5 below and a DD's Discounts and still nothing. The best I've found in months was the five step Megatronus Toys R Us exclusive at a Ross that I left on the shelf because I didn't want it.

Like the look of Windblade and Scorponok! Since the Titan Force set (off of eBay) will be arriving sometime soon, I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for Scorponok.

I picked up a warrior class Thunderhoof yesterday, somewhere here in North Carolina east of Topsail Beach, and I seem to have a problem with him. Honestly, it could be user error, but I can't get his legs to snap in properly when transforming him to alt mode. Any help would be appreciated.

Well dang Iron! I just transformed him because I wanted to help you out, but he just went right together.
I remember having a similar issue the first couple of times I TFed him too. Is it the main tabs that hold his legs together that are giving you trouble?

Talking about horrid QC/QA. That would definitely make it hard for it to come together. Is the best thing taking it back to the store for a refund or swap of a possible defective one again or would it be better in contacting Hasbro with it?

Nope. Bought it while traveling on vaca, and tossed the receipt with other travel trash. Ah well, guess he stays in robot mode.

I saw warrior class Grimlock (G1 paint) on the pegs for the first time and I was surprised when I saw the back of the package. I'm sorry if this has been brought up multiple times before but I'm not a fan of this line at all but what I saw got my attention really.

Fellow Seibertronian Bounti76 has sent us a notification of Transformers Robots in Disguise Legion class Groundbuster and Bisk finally showing up at US retail, after several reviews, galleries, images and whatnots - including our own set of galleries for both Decepticon beasties here. The molds of most minis were available in other ways right? Like Hammer is with Crazybolt and Back is with Battlepack Grimlock. And the others are in that 4 pac with weapon slipstream. If one skips wave 3 and 4, is tehre a mold that we wouldnt have?

I'm loving Beastbox. Dragonus, Slipstream, and Divebomb are alright but maaan Beastbox is a dangerously awesome little ape. The lack of articulation doesn't even bother me. Buying these 4 unlocked the need to get more mini-cons. Definitely gonna have to pick up the ones that turn into weapons. Might even need to fill in the gaps of the first couple waves so I can make the shark and lion energy beasts.

Some online retailers initially solicited the figure under the names "Decepticon Backfire" or "Kickback". Whilst the figure was subsequently named as just "Decepticon Back" in official Hasbro solicitations, stock photos of the toy in packaging and in the Robots in Disguise mobile game, further confusion arose when the figure's North American packaging sported the name "Decepticon Forth", as did the listing on the official Hasbro.com website. International releases, including Hong Kong, Australia and Europe, still sport the "Back" name. Eventually both versions were even found side by side at the same store in the US… and then Hasbro released a Mini-Con Mega-Pack sporting an unchanged re-release of the figure, again named "Decepticon Forth". With the Robots in Disguise cartoon having presented Forth as a very different-looking character, this wiki currently treats that name for the figure as an error, though we can't help but notice that Hasbro seems to keep quite literally going back and forth with the figure's name.

Well I got Warrior Class Windblade, Scorponok & Power Surge Optimus Prime - pleasingly quickly in the UK - now the question is will the Legion Class, One steps and Minicons show up too.
I only rarely see Minicons for sale and frankly they cost to much at £7.00 each. (especially with the lack of paint and lack of Articulation in them).
They are more like a £4.50 price toy. The gift sets are much better value - so hopefully some of them will show up - i do think it's a shame though that they didn't keep the parts frame on all versions as it would be nice to get the accessory parts in enough colours to make multiple coloured lion/sharks.
Hopefully more stuff will begin to show up after September.

I thought the UK was up to date on minicons. Kurona reported seeing weapon dragonus months ago. Those still haven't shown up in north America yet.

If anyone finds the minicons individual release Forth/Back, Swelter, Glacius, and Ransack, I am willing to work on a deal to get those 4 guys. I want to get the 4 but am running out of options to find them

One big Tesco and one big Sainsburys in 3 counties is the only place I know that sells them. (all wave 1) and all £7.00 each still. I did see them reduced to £5.40 once but even that was pricey I thought.
They are also out of stock online on The Entertainer too.
I don't see many Rescue Bots either as the main places to buy them I don't have except 50 miles away from me.

Has anyone found RiD Scorponok or Paralon in U.S. ToysRUs stores yet? Paralon's been out in Canada for weeks now and Scorponok from overseas, but they're naturally all priced absurdly high because they aren't out in the States yet.

I wouldn't expect them in the states for a few more weeks. Usually takes a lot of time before they come here from when they first show up overseas. And who knows about Paralon though, considering it showed up in Canada almost completely by surprise
