Thundertron and Magnus came out with STarscream and Op, I think. The last revision replaces Starscream with Skyquake. If you see a Starscream around, i tmight be the current wave instead of Skyquake's.

No way to say for sure, but I'd be willing to bet your just seeing the initial release of Wave 4. Skyquake gets added in the wave revision.

That too, but I meant this Jhiaxus:
It wouldn't make a difference. The mold is good enough for both.

and with his current colors they kinda hinder his likeness to his on screen appearances. didnt he have more white and a(slightly) lighter red?
that matte finish though is grade A. looks perfect in that regard.

I might be willing to make do with Dreadwing, but I'd much prefer this one.
So far, have seen nothing more than OP and Megatron in the UK.

Granted, he was in a canyon surrounded by lots of brown and tan sand that could have very well been throwing off the lighting of his color scheme with a heavy brownish tint, making his colors look lighter than they are here. Though, this image of him from Hasbro.com looks closer to these colors:starwarrior1227 wrote:im probably alone on this but i thought his green was closer to puke green

now i think the grey is fine being that they probably wouldnt make it silver at all, however the green should be puke green and bit faded and the red darker. Am i nitpicking, probably.
The toy to me just doesnt look right for some reason. the colors look a bit wrong and un-enjoyable. maybe its the additional scratches the CGI model has that would be almost impossible to replicate onto the toy. i know mass produced figures have this but most dont feel like they are hindered by this as much as Skyquake is. i just cant get behind this figure when i already have dreadwing.
thanks for the Pic though! and no im not trying to ruin the fig or be b**ch im just stating why i dont like the fig.

Especially when getting new ones in
My walmart currently has 2 dreadwings, 3 thundertrons, and like 1 ultra magnus.
Not to mention bulkhead megatron optimus and starscream.
But I still haven't seen a vehicon or airachnid.
Nor any combaticon.
The stores around me suck with deluxes I guess.
Cause all I see is cliffy and knockouts

Not all green, but can you see a few similarities in the body shape ? I think a new head and maybe some orange clip on armor could make him look like this TFCC Jihaxus. Just my opinion.

Not all green
From these pics, the only green I spot is in the shoulders and cockpit with some on the head. Otherwise, he's generically golden-orange & white, as opposed to the "mostly green" comment made earlier.

Hey I dont keep the comics memorized in my head. But dont you feel the body style is similar ? I could see him on a classics shelf with a head that looks lesh "Primish".

That would be "Beast Machines Returns" Jetstorm. He was a TRU exclusive in Japan.
Posted by Sabrblade on December 9th, 2012 @ 11:02pm CST
Hate to say this, but that's not green. That's just the color tint on the comic pages. That's Jhiaxus in his RiD toy body. Fun Pub went with that one instead of his G2 body because they wanted a version of the character that has his own toy.Rated X wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Green? Here's another shot without the color tinting:
And another older image but still of the same guy:
And here's the toy itself:
Full size
Which is a redeco of the Beast Machines Deluxe Jetstorm toy:
Which was NOT a Japanese exclusive like PrymeStriker claimed. In fact, Japan never ever got this toy mold in any form. All releases of this toy mold have ever been by Hasbro only.
tl:dr - the Jhiaxus you want a toy of was already given a toy.

I mis-matched the description with the BMR Ultra Class figure, when the mold shown was the Deluxe.

In any case, the picture of Deluxe Jetstorm on the last page was the original Deluxe released by Hasbro for the Beast Machines line. I think that's what we're trying to say, to prevent confusion.
This mold was redecoed into Jhiaxus for the RiD line.
Both the deluxe and ultra Jetstorms are absolutely GREAT toys by the way, and I'd recommend both molds all day to anyone who likes jetformers and metallic blue paint jobs.

Yeah, I know it was the Deluxe. I went researching for more info on it and came back with another figure's run-up.

That's where I went. There's no picture of the Japanese Ultra figure and I skipped over the part that mentioned it, so I assumed it was the Deluxe in the photo here.

Tech Specs:
Strength - 9

Rank - 9
Courage - 10
Fireblast - 9
Skill - 6

His head is still rubber but has a little more detail than Dreadwing's head. I like the green and silver color color combo and his eyebrows had that orange feathered tip which Dreadwing didn't have (Dreadwing's should be gold to match his face).
I also like his dark orange cockpit canopy with the silver trim. Dreadwing didn't have that so his whole canopy is yellow as seen below.

As Skyquake and Dreadwing share the same mold, if you already have DW, you know what to expect in his transformation and poseability. The dark orange clear parts accent the gray / green color scheme on his body. SQ comes with his gatling gun (shatterwave blaster) and same sword that Dreadwing has. His gatling gun is still the same Mechtech gun as Dreadwing's with a different tip. Sadly, it also doesn't lock.

Pic from the back with the white Decepticon Seeker logos. He still ships with the tail section on his butt so you can push it up on his back for a more streamlined look. To my surprise, his rubber tailfins are not deformed as the ones I got with Dreadwing. Dunno if it's a lucky pick for me or if the others are also that way.
In conclusion, if you really like Dreadwing's mold and are a TF Prime show bot completist, you shouldn't really pass up the chance to get Skyquake. I was happy that our local Hasbro distributor listens also to the collectors and tries to get the figures that we want. Hopefully within the next week or so, the Dark Energon series will be on retail then after that FOC Grimlock.
