What would be even more awsome would be a Cy-kill head to put on the Wreck-Gar body, though.

I do!
Anyway, this looks awesome. Nice sculpt and a bit toned down from both the Hasbro and Takara releases so far. I have to wonder how many people don't like the figure because they aren't getting the figure...

Now, if there was a set with the transparent Cyclonus, Scourge and Scrap Heap then I'd bite.
I still wish they'd gone Voyager size with Galvatron.

Oh hyperbole, thy name is Internet.
Considering that the figure comes in a three pack, the price is only slightly higher than a regular United figure. Exorbitant? I think not. Well, not unless $40 or so is going to break your bank. But THAT is a whole other issue.
Further consideration brings us to the thought that while we all have opinions, yours on the matter of the paint apps on this toy are well, wrong.
Please do take into even further consideration that yes indeed, I am calling your opinion wrong. The pictures we have of the toy show clean paint lines and a balanced palate of colors.

THAT's why we haven't sent internet spiders into your computer yet! Everything has a reason.

Look. I know my World History. The Internet (and Usenet) was founded on the idea that we all could argue our beliefs without needing to be objective, coherent, fair, rational, bipedal or even logical. Damn it Counterpunch, I have access to a modem and enough motor control to type on a keyboard. I'm against Scrap Heap!

I may end up paying a higher price later on down the road, but I'll get them eventuallly.
(Unless someone has some extra cash lying around and would be willing to pick up a extra set? I'll be able to pay once I'm working again which should be in a few months)
My dissapointment ceoms from not being able to army build Scrapheap. It's Galaxy Force White Noisemaze all over again.

All I gotta say is wow !!!
Im getting my Scrap Heap for a good price because I ordered from Robotkingdom. The set only cost $88 without shipping. And even though theyre shipping costs are very high, when you bundle a bunch of stuff including pre-orders together, you save a ton of money compared to BBTS, Toy Arena, TF Source, etc. So now I must wait for PE reflector to come out before I get my Scrap Heap. I bought the set for him !!!

Other way round fella, I decided not to get it because I don't like the way it looks (at least compared to the promo pics). I thout that was how this whole liking-things-and-buying-them thing worked? However, it will be sad not to be able to add a Chromedome to my classics-ish collection...

Bloody hell, I thought we all agreed not to talk about that figure...

Well, If you already own all the figures, then the only thing different besides paint IS just the head resculpt, and He probably meant dropping cash just for that isn't worth it. And I agree, the eyes looked like they were painted really badly in that one close up pic of scrap heaps eyes, sooo... I wouldn't ever get this set coz I only want the Junkion. I can just wait it out for another Junkion repaint. And if that never comes, it's not like I can't fit other bots onto Wreck gar's bike mode.

At any rate, c'mon guys, don't get me wrong. Of course there are plenty of valid reasons NOT to buy a particular figure. Then there is the vilification of a figure for the sake of rationalizing a lack of purchase. That kind of thing throws unfair comments into the mix and is pretty easy to pick up on.

Hail to the yes! You gotta love pictues of comically oversized bots riding the Wreck-Gar mould. Best to keep it in alt-mode anyway, with that headsculpt, Wreck-Gar's kinda the Revoltech Woody of the TF world...
Hmm, I think I just inadvertantly talked myself into buying Scrapheap...

I also ran into this a couple of months ago. Seems like a very interesting alternative to troop building a Generations Junkion army.

I didn't really check to find it much, haha, but we first saw it when we got pics of the 3 pack out of the box, but not removed from the packaging and wire seals. The pic was off scrapheap's head under the bike still in Alt mode. There were lots of swipes across the eyes where paint was missing and showed the clear plastic beneath.
Thing is, I'd buy it even with the bad paint and just add red paint to it myself, IF it didn't have to come with a transluscent figure I didn't want, and a figure I already had in a paint job I deem more appropriate.
And yes, the oversized figures on wreck gar are hilarious, especially Lugnut. He looks like one of those pair of fat guys on scooters. Animated Blackarachnia looks especially good on Wreckgar fyi (check my post in the 'Things your Transformers can do that you never knew" thread).

Thats pretty sick man. Too bad I wouldn't get them since I like them to be able to transformer with the integrated parts. Still, very cool looking.

That's actually a good point. It does suck that they can't transform with the parts attached. Definitely awesome looking pieces though

Those add-on parts are sweet. Not sure if transforming is that important for me with that particular figure. I would just diplay him robot form. Besides did all of the Junkions tansform? Anyone know if those parts what the plastic quality is like? ABS or resin?
For the folks that are worried about the Scrap Heap's paint apps - e-Hobby has traditionally done a good job of making sure that paint apps, packaging, and QC are top notch. I can't think of any figure that they released that was subpar. This is a terrific rare figure that I think people will pass on at first to only regret it later.

The pieces are supposedly cast in resin but I'm not sure how durable they are. I wish I had more info about them but I suppose it's best to wait for feedback from buyers before biting at this point

Doubt it. SDCC TF exclusives have been pretty bland for the past two years, and they wouldn't copy Takara exclusives.

I agree. But now that I think about it, this is ripe for a TFCC/Botcon exclusive, ala the Sweeps from a few years back.

Eh, in the end, to each their own

My set just came yesterday. I ordered everything but a new head. Now my tricked out United Wreck-Gar is riding RTS. The shoulder and knee parts are going to be divided among Scrapheap and the other one that was shown in Hasbro's directions.

How's the quality on those? I'm really leaning toward purchasing a couple of parts for one of my Wreck-Gars.
