Here is something quite a few fans have been waiting for since it was first announced: an official picture for TAV28 Grand Vehicon General.
Now we have it, thanks to fellow Seibertronian SW's SilverHammer and Starsabr who found these pictures on twitter and Amazon.
It appears the deco will consist of silver covering almost every inch of this figure, which does not reference anything in the fiction so far. This was a very anticipated deco reveal from the fan community as the Prime RID Vehicon moldis a fan favourite. Since this is a TAV figure, it does have a sticker for the Japanese mobile app. This figure is currently slated for a September release.
Amazon Japan also had official Images of TAV27 Micron Shooter Drift which reveals that he will come with both his Microns:
You can see for yourselves here the extent of the deco improvements on that figure compared to Hasbro's.

ETA end of August. Same Over ride. That's why I had to delay my UW Menasor, I combined them shipping.

Well they were july and now they're august (and I suspect its a feature of the site to automatically push up the date by every month); they still haven't gotten the next shipment of protectobots in, they've been on 'pre-order' since may

I didn't post any links on 2 online Japan based stores with regards to TAV-28 because the sucker sold out like the minute it got posted.
Tried accessing amiami but the site kept giving me an error until they eventually put off the pre-order slot.I also tried hlj but also sold out. So I requested hobbysearch if the could also order some.
This is the response I got
So expect this early October.

The little Black fella might go well with Grand Scourge or some hypothetical Nemesis Prime repaint that may get made one day. Not to mention the Unite Warriors set of course.
I do kind of wish they'd not put the hood logos on him though then the logo wouldn't be sideways when he's in chest plate mode. 4 logos is to many.
I like how Override's scannable logo is hidden too - that is a good idea.

Small-groove was never meant to interact/combine with sky lynx (to my knowledge) wreck-gar is just being released in that wave. And these aren't G1 so TT is not acknowledging that they combine, and are not designing them to do so.

Yeah, 2 op's is a bit much in 1 year
And I do know that they can, what i meant was, TT is not designing the deco (specifically the sideways on runabout) to work with the torso guys. But yeah, cannot wait to have runabout chillin' with blackjack on my desk; he is such a superb little figure.

These are pictures from Hishashi Yuki's Twitter (TF Yuki) of the upcoming TED-11 Big Steeljaw and below you can see the difference between the Takara and Hasbro releases.
While the 3 steps may be for a younger audience, they are still engineered by Takara (3 step Grimlock and Bumblebee are done by the same guy who made MP 10) and I like how they show great pride in their accomplishments throughout the line, regardless of the amount of steps it takes to transform.

Also, that 3 step Steeljaw is look a lot better than Hasbro's effort. I do like the 3-step guys. Is there any word on Takara's take on Thunderhoof? I already liked Hasbro's, but looking at what they're doing to Steeljaw, me thinks Takara might one-up Hasbro.

Dude, its a job, the man was given a contract by his company. Its not like he has a choice, and he chooses to make the best of it. Should the caretaker of a luxury hotel feel ashamed of taking out the trash too? More to the point (since its the same guy who also did Devastator), should he feel ashamed that he couldnt give more articulation to Devastator because Hasbro wouldnt let him add more parts? WTF?! Shame on your comment.

Imagine if someone else designs a 3-step. oh the things that could happen.....

SkyLynx has Wreck Gar interact with him - I think he fits on his back if I recall correctly - anyway he's officially part of that Gestalt team.
My comment is that since Override is the same mould and thus functionally identical to Wreck Gar his interaction with Sky Lynx would be preferable as the colours are far more suitable than Wreck Gar's brown is for the overall look.
Someone who was at Botcon had said that Wreck Gar fits on a chest plate mode like addition but on the back of the toy instead of the front.
However I notice Victorion seems to use the Motorcycle mould also as an arm cannon (as well as a chest plates) so that may be an option for Sky Lynx too.
Anyway the colours look better than Wreck Gar for that given purpose which is the core of my point.

Agreed Mr. William, I don't hammer down on him not being allowed to put more articulation into Devy, in fact before I was planning to get the CW version, until I saw the UW version. Devy is a great looking figure, and he did the best he could, but he had a lower budget than when he does the Masterpieces! Give the man a break Shockwave7! All the UW version does, is improve it, and make it like how he WANTED it to be like. As he said, he wanted to make it as close to a Masterpiece Devastator as possible. Considering the fact that this is the price of 6 voyagers, and that it has MORE IN IT than just the voyagers (like the the combiner bits), it's understandable that he had to take out some articulation. I know I may be restating some things that I and other people have already said, but that's my view. William-James88, I agree with you whole heartedly buddy.

Glad you agree. Although he was talking about the three steps and how the same guy who made devy and the mps should be ashamed of working on the 3 steps. And I simply said there was nothing to be ashamed of, its his job, he is told what to work on. And devastator was an example that showed he obviously cant always do what he wants to do, he makes the best of it.
