Crazybolt's two designs are so wildly different from each other. I mean, they share a lot of design cues, but the "Starter" is like a crazy overdetailed reimagining of the "Deployer".

Warrior class is Deluxe class-sized, so not likely.Emerje wrote:Is "Warrior Asia" Grimlock supposed to be based on Voyager class Battle Grimlock from Japan? That's the only Grimlock figure I can think of that actually did the yellow stripes on the arms from the cartoon (or close enough to it). I won't get my hopes up over a western release, but it would be nice. Maybe an exclusive run somewhere like with GDO?

My guess is maybe the Warrior Asia versions of Bee and Grim could be some forth coming Hasbro Asia Platinum Edition release featuring the Warrior molds.

I am pretty sure it is. Wouldnt surprise me if its a wound up toy that transforms mid way like the jump starters.

That would make sense for the name, damn it has crazy potential to be an awesome warrior figure though.

This marks the first online availability, so it looks like these toys will hit other online retailers and perhaps even brick and mortar very soon.

Sound off below if you're looking forward to these new Robots in Disguise toys, which are hitting fast and furious as we approach the holiday season.

Dunno if it was, but if we get a minicon chainsaw, i will buy it. i love minicon weapons!

Edit: Nevermind, I thought there was a Starter model for him in the game that would more closely resemble an in-show design, but it's just the legion. Oh well. Did we have any kind of artwork of Ratchet prior, then?

I really hope Swelter actually looks like he's got fire flowing thru him, i.e. clear plastic joints and a little flame that pops onto his noggin.

Going by the pics, lizards of some sort?
I thought the game would show you a preview of both forms for each character at one point but I can't get it to do it now.

It looks like the only clear plastic are his feet, and it also seems like he's a repaint of divebomb so unless they give him new plastic upgrades he's just going to have the battle mask

A double Chainsaw even.
I tend to keep my Arms Micron Pussy cats in catskin rug (shield) or cat modes though.

Technically he is the same as Prime Ratchet so there is a ton of artwork for him there and probably in the RID comics which feature the older cast. The news was more about how the app hints at new toys but we already know he's coming out. I had a link in the article to the NYCC reveals he was part of.

I just got it too! Also, there is precedence for that nice effect to give flames:

Okay, you clearly stated that Crazybolt is based on some kind of lizard. But what kind of lizard to be exactly? Can you please at least provide us some image of what Crazybolt's vehicle mode be like before he makes his debut?

For Primus' sake man, he just said all you can see is the bot mode, and it is a bad game image, not a high quality concept art or something. We do not know. We will need to see what happens later on. and just because he is in the game does not mean he will be in the show, same with the comics and toyline, As I have mentioned before
Posted by Shuttershock on November 11th, 2015 @ 12:28pm CST
Also, good to see Springload getting toy form. Can't get a good look, but as long as it's decent I'd pick it up. One step seems like an appropriate size for the delusional loon.

You didn't really prove him wrong you just posted something that hasn't been seen yet. He didn't say there was no concept art he said that the particular image we were looking at wasn't concept art.

Thank you for posting something like this: Proof of something. While it really does not give us a clean image (since it is all story board stuff like that) It does show that he may be in the show if the 204 really does mean season 2 episode 4.

They do but BBTS usually offers a set of just the new figures. Then again there's been a few instances where they haven't offered that, probably don't want to get stuck with certain figures.

For a while there all we got was yet another 3 Step changer.. at least the Minicons and the one-steps give some appearance of there being an intention to continue the toyline.
Oh and as to the point Quillfire and Springload seeming new - well if I had seen them before it was so lo res It didn't stick in my mind seeing the in-package and a slightly bigger grey scale than I had before does cement it in my mid as a thing that exists.
I would be curious to see for sure if Sideswipe is a new mould or not too - I can't see the image well enough to tell - seems possible though if Bee is a Drift style remould that he might be a remould too.

Because then fans would threaten Hasbro to never ever buy a tf again.
Also RAR, Hasbro said from the get go that the first year of RID was to get the autobots out first and attract the kids to the line (by clearly setting age ranges when speaking in interviews and such). They said the rest would come in after that and we are seeing it now that the line is more established and has some footing amongst the younger kids. Now they can release more decepticons and new fun stuff that we can all enjoy.

We're not their target market. They're primarily a distributor first, sell to folks like us second. Are you talking about BBTS? I respectively disagree. As long as I've shopped there, it's been all about us collectors. I do not think they do any distribution. (And sure, the site looks dated. But I can find stuff there! I would prefer function over visual aesthetics any day.)

Make that 3 and I was part of the conversation. Lately BBTS has just sold cases without doing a set, when they do a set the figures are usually priced higher since they know they're going to get stuck with extras.
For what it's worth ToyWiz is scalping some of the new one-step and legion figures on Amazon. $20 for Windblade, all I can do is shake my head.
