I was still kicking myself for not buying the previous funny striped Classics Starscream for $30 at a recent toy show.
G1 accurate plus half the price and off the shelf? I'm in!

I'd put money on the new Starscream. My wish is that Hasbro would've released him with 86 cartoon colors before instead of messing around with us. Damn.

Not only that but the plastic is predominantly WHITE, perfect for dyeing either blue or black to make Thundercracker or Skywarp. Try that with an Acid Storm. Really don't do that, I did with terrible results. I missed the first version myself and am glad they made this one besides the point of it being excellent repaint/kitbash fodder. Looks great and I already got one off ebay I like it so much.

I'll join you and the poster further up and third this one. I mean they did a titanium ww sunstorm, it's not like they've abandoned the character. But I think his shade of yellow would look great on the classics mold, not to mention the bitchin' white nosecone
all that having been said, this starscream looks pretty boss. not sure which material they're using for him, though i hope any cheap plastic won't be one of the intolerably bad kinds.

.
Personally I would love to get a Classics Sunstorm, but I prefer the orange color rather than the yellow.
It looks like they may use this mold as much as they did with G1 Prime over the years. We are gonna have a whole battalion of seekers.

I'm OK with that!
Seeker repaints are OK in my book.
And the sad part is, if they did them all as voyagers, I'd buy 'em all again. I'm such a sucker.

Wasn't it unlikely we'd ever see this mold again in other colors because why would parents want to buy the same toy over again with small variations in color? I'm just saying.

Previously, we had news of Universe Starscream's deluxe repaint in alt mode, and robot mode, sporting a little more animated look.
Now another picture has shown up that shows this toy in its package.

QFT!!
That's one mold that they can repaint till their hearts desire and I'll still buy them in Lilac, Teal, and Mauve!! I'm a sucker for seekers and will always be one.

Right there with ya! I am another of those types that'll buy seekers by the truckloads....big, small, whatever....I generally love the molds! Color matters little, they could be PLAID and I'd buy it!

Sledge wrote:The rainmakers can bite my shiney metal ass. I'm really not bothered about a couple of jets that had thirty seconds screentime in one epsiode. Seriously, what's the big deal with them?
I love repaints, I love new and unusual characters, I love Seekers, but I must agree with Sledge. The Rainmakers? Seriously. Are we really that excited about some background characters or animation errors that we must clamor for their figures? I know, I'd buy them for the reasons I stated above, but is there no character so minor that we can sit back and agree doesn't require a plastic version? It's like Star Wars figures for guys no one even noticed were in the movie (not EU stuff, like each of the Senators from the prequels, etc.).
If we're really going to get the Rainmakers, how long until someone starts to cry that we haven't gotten a Soundwave that transforms into that lightpost or whateverthehell he was in the first episode of the G1 cartoon for all of .8 seconds?
(That's my idea....don't none of you vultures go stealing it.)

Well there a 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime, which is a re-issue of G1 Optimus Prime.
Megatron... if the HTS (Hasbro Toy Shop) exclusive Megatron is part of Universe, then yeah there a Megatron. Same for HTS exclusive Optimus Prime.
