either an alternate part/misassembly or, their is a combined mode and hasbro has been lying to us the entire time. Probably the former... still want them to combine though.

Each of them (or at least Arcee and Chromia) come with a removable weapon/piece thing.
I think they look really good, I might just be getting them. I'm hoping Reprolabels makes some stickers for the symbols on the sides of the bikes.
EDIT: Chromia's accesory is the blue sword-looking piece, which you can see in the background of that picture, so I'm not sure what that is on Arcee's shoulder either

the Arcee sisters look great! I love this as a little legion 3-pack. it's a fantastic way to do them in scale.
I'm excited for this wave, it is looking fantastic!

Are you talking about vehicle scale? Robot mode scale has actually been set with the Studio Series (actually I'm hearing that AoE onwards has figures that work with the scale).

alt mode scale is a bit wonky, but the robot mode scales since AOE have pretty much been consistent. It's been pretty nice

He’s an average figure to me, nothing too special but nothing to hold him back either, and then there is the fact that he isn’t a major character, so he’s pretty much the equivalent of a glorified background character. But if you put him with a few of the KSI sentries, I get the feeling that he will pop out as a sort of vehicon general, so he has that going for him.

I'm undecided on whether I like him. The alt mode is great, and his head sculpt is surprisingly detailed. But, and normally I'm not one to really care about backpacks; my love for the POTP Rodimus mold is testiment to that, but like, Stinger's back is literally like a concave c-shape. It's so bizarre.

I agree, and vehicle scale has never been an issue for me with the toys.

Except that's not in scale at all. A current deluxe that splits into 2 legends would work great and be in scale with the line to go with the 3 pack legion Arcees.
Even if they did the twins in their individual car modes, a deluxe 2 pack is probably the best way to go

However the ice-cream twins would be way too small as scouts. Unless they do some engineering magic to make the bot twins the same size as jazz.

They wouldn't be no. The Twins were half the height of Bumblebee, Jazz was still bigger than them by a fair margin. they were short and squat, they could be OK using legends engineering and properly scaled

Anyway, the twins will come one way or another. We just have to wait and see.

Plus they would be extremely annoying to transform due to the tiny parts.

The engineering for the twins does not need to be very complex, they are pretty dang straight forward transformers

You obviously haven't handled either RotF toy.

I did owned all the deluxes at some point. I can confirm that all the ROTF deluxes are quite fiddly and even the simpler DOTM ones were not "straightforward".
I still own both Human Alliance toys and they are very complicated to transform. Still fun though. Also, ROTF HA Mudflap is still worth a fortune on the secondary market.
I do wonder how Studio Series will handle the Twins?

Hopefully there's a way to simplify them, because I HAVE handled the RotF toys, and I never want to again.

I own Tuner Skids and regular Mudflap and while I appreciate what the designers were aiming for, the car bits turned out troublesome on both. The arms on Mudflap are especially irritating with the clearances.
Should they attempt SS versions, the scale will hopefully make the designers rethink their strategies.

The transformation scheme itself is very straight forward, the toys before were more complex because they could be. SS can make good legends scale ones to make a deluxe 2-pack so they are in scale. They are proving that with 3 good legion Arcee sisters in a deluxe case, so i wouldn't doubt they could make a good Twin 2-pack.

The do have a 10 years of experience and tech advancement. So this may result in some interesting designs.

The Bayverse fans can have EVERYTHING because there is not a single Bay figure you'll ever like.
But eh, it's just your usual hit-and-run Bay-hate comment.

The remaining components of Studio Series Devastator are due out in the first quarter of 2020, and hopefully, we'll see final product shots of Scrapper and Overload in the next few months. So what do you think? Any more or less excited for the combined figure? Let us know what you think below!

I could be wrong but they could have at least transformed Longhaul, Rampage, Hightower, and Scrapmetal closer to what they are suppose to be and perhaps on the right side. It is nice to see what it may look like, size wise but doesn’t look appealing looking like this.
Don’t get me wrong, I am anxious to see the final product and look forward to getting the rest of them but holy cow.

Exactly this. this is just like when Superion and menasor were first revealed for CW with the wrong limbs and horribly posed and transformed, and those were much simpler components... and fewer

I will say though I’m a little disappointed that he doesn’t appear to have the missile pods from the ROTF game like in the concept art. Still looks really cool though!
