I love the toys but these idiots butchered the fiction & movies/cartoons/video game side of it.

You may not like Bumblebee but the kids love him, and hasbro make kids toys so it makes sense to follow this route. Also you mention last knight but that's no longer the last transformers movie released, I'd say they're already changing direction

There's still next years exclusive Netflix series coming, but it does have a few of the same people involved who did the macinema stuff. There's also the comics that try and cater to the adult side (admittedly that worked better before the recent batch became bland)
