Kabaya Candy Box Set - Gum Plus Convoy Figures

How big are the figures? Legend size?

These are pretty awesome. Is $4.33 the price to buy one here in the States, or is that the price in Japan? Also, do the toys really look that good? How big are they? I'd like to see some bigger, better pics.

these look pretty cool... and i love blind packs! i wish there were more figures though, at the very least i want that star saber!

If the actual toys are nearly as good as the promo photos suggest, I'd love to get all three. They look pretty darn good!

i just want to know three things

1. can they tow trailers
2. have fansproject seen these yet because id love some trailers or armour kits
3. will there be chase versions?

to me they look deluxe size, and that 80's optimus prime is better then the original cuss you can see his hands in his truck mode, how sweet id that. i hope they show more pics and also do a size comparison.

Hey, Star Saber! There's a face we haven't seen in a while!

Not trying to be nitpicky, but that's Henkei! Convoy, not Classics Prime. Notice the lack of yellow and the inclusion of shoulder insignias, among other differences.

That Optimus Prime looks suspiciously like the World's Smallest mold. And given the $4.33 retail price, I would expect that the figures are Legends-scale or smaller... so WST seems likely.

My guess is that they've made a couple new molds to fit with the World's Smallest scale, which is just fine with me!

Anyone know where i can order these?

I want them all! Especially Star Saber. I hope these make their way to the plethora of asian shops around here.

I'm going with legends size at the biggest, which suits me just fine. I'm really groovin' on the Star Saber, as I really want some version of the character now that I'm halfway through Victory, the Robot Masters version is impossible to find on ebay, and I'm in the process of buying a house... so that pretty much throws the idea of getting the original right out the window. C'mon candy toy Star Saber!

I hope these figures are about Legends or even Scout size. The few Legends and Scout class figures I have are great. I like their scale for desk ornamentation and just to pick up and carry around for idle transformation.

Ok... the top Prime is a repaint of WST Prime. Does that mean that Takara has made WST Star Saber and Classics Prime? Ye gods, how could Classics Prime WORK at that scale?!?

If they are $4 each and they come with candy, they must be Legend-class at best, but most likely smaller and simpler than Legends. There's no way they'd sell a Scout-size figure with candy for less than half the price of a Scout.

Yeah, these must definitely be new versions of the Henkei Optimus mold. Take a look at the wind vain in robot mode. It appears to be hollowed out, and you can see two prongs for the smokestacks to connect too.

Still awesome for the price, though.

Nope that's not the WST Prime mold, it's got too many details and it's legs are separated, WST Primes legs are just one solid piece of plastic.

I guess these are a little bigger than legends just a teeny weeny bit.

And if these guys are like other candy toys, they should be around 3 inches tall. At least thats how big some of the Kamen Rider candy figures are.

Very true. Damn. I would have liked a cheap WST Star Saber. Hmmm. Star Saber was always a big guy right?

I just noticed, it looks like the Henkei Prime is missing is Ionblaster, the wind-thing doesn't transform!

Actoys has posted the all new images of Kabaya Candy Box Set Convoy figures. This series comes with either Classic Optimus Prime, G1 Optimus Prime or Victory Saber.
All these mini figures are able to do transformation and the product expected to be released in the month of December 2009.

these out oof box images are dissappointing to say the least. even the most basic paint apps like the silver stripe are absent. i have until december to decide if i want to keep my preorder.

I've play some of candy toy, since it's easy to find in my country.
The Candy toy is the toy that come with candy or some sort of sweet, jelly or corn snack. You should know that since it's a cheap toy for kid to purchase in their free time, the toy usually...
1. Made from the plastic with a small size, approx legend-class or deluxe.
2. Some of candytoy will go in plastic runner, You cut a part out of runner and assemble them together.
3. Sticker and some paint is require to decorate candytoy. But it's the funniest part of playing candytoy.

The color in those picture is surely a finished product without sticker. But it's ok I can't wait to grab 1 set of Star Saber.

I don't mind the missing paint apps. I think the molds look good considering these are products that come with gum for a few dollars. I think they're neat and would be nice candidates for custom paint practice for me.

No paint or stickers? Sad face indeed.

Now if someone will make a miniature City Commander armor for the teeny-tiny Classics Prime...

Errr . I mean the sticker is include in box but in those photo they are not stickerize.
Look close on the box picture, on the bottom-left of each box. You'll see a toy picture when the sticker is placed.

They look great, I think they are between legends and scout class, not smaller then legends anyway.
Hope they will have more paint, I love small robots but totally missed out on the World's Smallest Transformers and they are way to expensive of ebay now.
Here's to hoping that it will be a succes and they will make more with the quality going up with each figure!
