Botcon.com has just been updated and has announced the first guest that will be attending Botcon 2009 will be Gregg Berger! The site also lists that Mr. Berger will be there Friday through Sunday.
For our younger readers, Gregg Berger is a actor/voice actor whose connection to Transformers stretches back to Generation 1. He was the original voice of fan-favorite Grimlock, as well as Long Haul, Skyfire, and Outback.

This is awesome news! My guess is that this year's guest lineup will be more like 2007's, which would rock.

Remember: Bring your MP Grimlocks to BotCon for him to sign.
I like Gregg Berger. He was fun at TFCon 08. Check out the videos on YouTube.

Mr. Berger was at TFCon last year. Awesome guy. Proud to say that I shook his hand and thanked him for enriching my childhood with some of my most favourite characters (Grimlock and Jetfire).

He'd probably appreciate you telling him that in person (as long as you weren't carrying roses)

But he loves it when you do your impression of Grimlock for him.

He's definitely a class act when it comes to meeting his fans. I had the pleasure of chatting it up with him and Neil Kaplan at this years Wondercon. I look forward to seeing him at Botcon this year.

This is awesome news! As the time draws closer, I'm getting more and more anxious for BotCon. "Botcon Fever" perhaps?

I met Gregg Berger last year at TFCon and I really like his normal speaking voice. He has great tone in it. He appears to be a nice guy, but he has that smile that all Voice Actors that I have met wear on their face.
Don't forget to bring extra money to buy a wistband if you want his autograph though. Just another cute little perk of Botcon this year. If you don't believe me, look at the FAQ.
There is nobody on this earth that I would pay to get their autograph. Last year I stood in the autograph line 3 times to get stuff signed for other people back home.
