The hosting company for Seibertron.com,
ThePlanet.com (appropriate, huh?), can't seem to figure out why the Database server and the Web server have been experiencing extreme difficulties communicating to one another for the past few weeks. After dealing with these difficult server issues that I feel are on their end and not on my end based on several tests that I ran, I moved the databases for
GiCobra.com,
Transtopia and
Seibertron.com back to the Web server until I can get a reliable database server back up and running.
All of this techno-mumbo-jumbo just means that all 3 of these sites should appear to be running normal to all of you. I'll continue dealing with the database server issue once I get settled into my new apartment here in Chicago this weekend. The good news is that you guys should be able to enjoy the Seibertron.com websites over the weekend without too much interuption and I should be able to move without having to worry too much about the status of these websites.
If you experience any further lengthy connection issues between now and next Monday, please contact one of the staff members via the
Energon Pub forums. Thank you to everyone for your patience during these very trying times over the past few weeks.

Likewise, if the site happens to go down completely, shoot me an e-mail at

Outside of being a little slow I haven't had any problems. But glad to see it's all fixed now though.

Thanks go out to all the site admins for all their hard work. Although I am new to Transformers and this site, I love this site and it's been fun communicating with everyone.
Thanks and keep up the good work!

I've had major problems getting onto this website recently. Everything else works, so I know it's not just me. I was thinking you guys should definitely switch servers or something because it's been incredibly unreliable for me.

Please read the above post. It's not just you. It's a server problem and it doesn't mean that we should switch servers. The problem should just be resolved, which I'm working on. My band-aid seems to be working for the time being, which I'm very happy about.

....you did. We just didn't want to say anything.
In all seriousness though, it's nice to hear that we might see the of our problems soon. The load times have been nothing short of ridiculous, not to mention, trying to post and getting "No Post Mode Specified" every other time was driving me insane.

I only had problems from work. I thought my job threw up a firewall and I have been trying to circumvent it. However, I could get to any other site...
I just waited until I got home to post and I guess that I probably got more work done...
