With all these BB repaints you'd think they'd at least do a Goldbug. It's pretty much BB without being redundant.

How many uses have each of the original Classics molds seen now? The seekers had to be redone from overuse, apparently, and it seems like the Voyager Optimus sculpt can't be too far behind, but I've not actually counted.
All things considered, though, Rodimus and Grimlock have seen relatively few uses, and Voyager Megatron is only up to... three?

Oh my, yes, this makes me very happy indeed! And to think I was that close to ponying up for an older version! Phew!
Thank you Hasbro!
Now, I'll take Cliffjumper and Ratchet please.

The f**k is wrong with my luck lately!?
Well, at least I saved six bucks on Blurr and Dirge (they're awesome BTW) and I didn't go through the trouble of buying the wal-mart edition. So maybe I wont feel so bad to get a third BB... Or I could just stick with Goldbug.
I wish they'd just make a new mold for this, or re-tool it to keep the window from cracking. Though, God forbid they make him another Camaro.
Nujevad wrote:Classics, Henkei, Legacy, Generations and United. That's 5 Bumblebees, meanwhile, only one Cliffjumper exists.
Let's not forget all the other characters those could have been as well.

Also, this is exactly the same as the one shown in the United listings, which probably means the Optimus Prime is too.

Of course I will then, as per usual, still not be able to afford to buy them but they will BE there for me to choose "Food or Toy?" over.
Also, just because it has been on my mind, does anybody else really think that there needs to be a "New" classics-verse Grimlock because the one from Classics just didn't retain enough of a Grimlockey feel?

Same here. Classics Cliff and Mirage are severely outnumbered by Bayverse 'Cons on the shelf, and they could use some company from a fellow Classic TF.

now hasbro bring out mass release Skywarp and Thundercracker!!! you brought us the two Gentei(sp) coneheads now help us finish what you started!!!

I never picked up Bumblebee during Classics.
I was still a kid. I was put off by the fact that there was a red one too.
So, I bought neither of them.

As it is, I've been using a couple of spare NEST Brawn pistols for CL BB and CJ. They work great and will look even better when I paint the outer casings yellow and red respectively, and the inner parts silver.
Anyways, good news for folks who missed out on him the first time. Perhaps there is still hope for getting a decently colored Hasbro Voyager Megs now.

Rodimus has seen 5 uses(the same number as the Voyager Prime mold by my count): Classics, Henkei, Shattered Glass, Wild Rider, and Challenge at Cybertron/Battle in Space.
Grimlock as also been used 5 times: Classics, Henkei, Shattered Glass, Botcon '07 Customization class Timelines Overkill, and '08 Universe Overkill.

ooh full throttle energy drink up one's nose is a bad thing.
lol that was hilarious.
I think if I see him on the peg or have to preorder him with something else then fine. my 3 pack bee is still in great shape so... yeah.

remember RID scourge? it's a remake of that figure
Posted by The Dude on October 28th, 2010 @ 9:47am CDT
I remember going to Walmart a couple years ago, seeing the Legacy of Bumblebee 3-pack, and thinking "OMG Classics Bumblebee with a whole new color scheme... right between two of the exact same figures I already own. "

HA!! so true.....i got a henkei classics BB but still haven't taken it from the box cause i really do hate hatchbacks and don't want it with my others TF's. Too funny that ya said that

Mkall wrote:Nice. I'll be getting this version. Rumour has it Renderform is making a Goldbug head/kit for Classics Bumblebee, so I'll keep him around too.
Why the Hell doesn't Hasbro do this. Slap some gold paint and a new Goldbug head on that mold and we will happily line up to buy it. Instead we get yet another BB.

Box of random bits. Everyone needs one, for all those pesky things that don't stow anywhere. And lame-o accessories best left undisplayed. Like the wave runner!

Rodimus723 wrote:Is it just me or does the design somewhat resemble the rebuilt leader Bumblebee from the on going?
I figured that's what they were alluding to. It makes the figure a little more relevant I guess.

not yet, need the Goldbug repaint, a cliffjumper reissue, a green animated waspinator nod and throw in a Henkei Special Black version for good measure. Then we can talk about retirement

A small fishing tackle box works great for these types of pieces, and parts that you don't keep attached for display but don't want to loose, like cyber keys and the like.

Darnit, now you have me wanting that new HftD Bumblebee in green!
Classics BB was a great figure (kinda like a mini alternator with a less frustrating transformation); everyone who doesn't already have him should be able to experience the love.

Interesting, I hadn't considered that. And the bottom could be used for larger items or instructions! Funny, considering I used a tackle box for my micro RCs. So far I've just been using a cardboard box for TF accessories.
