PRODUCTS/MEDIA: Masters Of The Universe 2002 NOT going to have mini-comics with their products but Transformers 2002 will???? Thanks to DreamWave and their relationship so far with Hasbro, the 2002 Transformers figures are
"reported" to have a mini-comic with their packaging (much like the original and reissue Masters Of The Universe figures) and the larger figures will come packaged with trading cards, similar to that of the Japanese Transformers figures. Check out one of the DreamWave "Transformers:G1" covers
here!!!

NEWS/RUMORS/PRODUCTS: According to Professor Smooth, Scourge comes out this month as a full size Ultra RID figure. As for the Spychanger version of Scourge, let's just say he fits nicely into most places Spychangers could fit. Most notably a certain window in a certain 2 foot tall city Transformer. Might Fortress Maximus (Brave Maximus in Car Robots) be released here in the states as early as April 2002?
For Transformers statue fans, rumor has it that
Hard Hero plans bi-monthly busts of Ironhide, Soundwave, Hotrod, Starscream, Grimlock, Prowl, and Arcee (possibly a full figure).

NEWS/RUMORS: So just how far down the road is the supposed "Transformers: Armada" series? Check out the information at
Entertainment Earth to find their reference to an "Optimus Prime, semi truck". Is it THE Optimus Prime? Is it a reissue? Is it a mixup on the name for "Scourge" from RID? Fact or rumor? You decide!

NEWS/PRODUCTS: According to Defensis Prime, "Mountain Dew is now your new best friend, your morning pick-me-up, and at least thirty percent of your reason for living. Why? Go pick yourself up some cans, and you'll find, ONLY on 12-pack cans of Mountain Dew, a coupon for $2 off of a $10 purchase of G.I.Joe or...drums please...Transformers! Even better, you'll find a similar deal on 24-pack cubes of Mountain Dew--$5 off of a $15 purchase of the same stuff. These coupons won't expire until Feb 28 2002, so if you're like me--a person who goes through Dew like Joe Average guzzles Juan Valdez, you'll be saving a decent amount of cash on your favorite 'bots in disguise."
