Australian comic book writer Shane McCarthy, creator of the character Drift and author of the All Hail Megatron storyline, has
tweeted something potentially interesting to the Transformers comics readership a while back. Will he be returning to an ongoing series, maybe once Dark Cybertron is over and ReGeneration One ends? Or is he writing something else? Check out the
tweet below, and speculate away in the Energon Pub!
Just realised I spent the afternoon writing Transformers while wearing my Optimus Prime t-shirt #hardcore #nerdlife
You know I now realise I probably shouldn't have tweeted that haha.

After the confirmation,
a while back, that Steve Jablonsky will be returning to score Transformers: Age of Extinction, we have another musical tidbit to report. Seibertron.com member
mooncake623 has spotted electronic musician and DJ Steve Aoki
tweeting about discussing Transformers with Michael Bay - does this mean he will also be contributing to the film's music? Stay tuned (heh) to find out!

Mindmaster dug up a new Amazon listing;
one for a Generations Deluxe Tankor! No images yet, unfortunately, but it appears as though this new listing confirms the
rumor of there being Generations toys for Rattrap, Crosscut, Nightbeat, and Tankor that we reported a couple months back.
Keep your optics peeled for updates!

News submissions from João Miguel Borges on Facebook, and fellow Seibertronian MasterSoundBlaster have pointed us in the direction of two new galleries of the filming vehicles used for both
Dark Of The Moon (
Ratchet,
Leadfoot, Dino) and Age Of Extinction. (Hound, disguised Optimus, Bumblebee, the as of yet unnamed Corvette and also the as of yet unnamed Bugatti.) Before you read on, it should be noted that this is
not a confirmation of the appearance of Dino or Leadfoot in the next film. The Ferrari may just be a display piece, while Leadfoot seems to have been filmed, much like the muddied vehicles on the rest of the trailer. As you can see, there are newly acquired racing stripes for the Ferrari, leading some to believe that Dino not only has an appearance in the film, but a slight visual upgrade to match his newly redesigned compatriots.
Here's what our friends had to say:
We have mirrored the full set of images here for ease of use.
Keep your optics tuned to Seibertron.com for the latest in news and updates, plus the best
galleries around!

Thanks to some Instagram users and other sources, we have several images from the
Age of Extinction set that features a black, law enforcement-themed Chevrolet Suburban driving alongside the red Pugani Huayra and the Freightliner Argosy long believed by fans to be either Ultra Magnus, Nemesis Prime, or Stunticon leader Motormaster. Usually, we'd write this off as belonging to human law enforcement, however one detail prevents us doing so: the very same vehicle was used to represent the Decepticon troopers, affectionately called the Dreads for their dreadlocks, in the last Transformers film,
Dark of the Moon. Could this mark the return of the Decepticon cannon fodder, or is it just pure coincidence that the vehicle is on the set? Speculate away here in the Seibertron.com forums!

Chinese news site
Chongqing Evening News has reported that more
Age of Extinction filming is beginning in Wulong Karst Geology Park, China. A part of the South China Karst chapter of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage sites, and the site of a rare geological and ecological limestone karst, the article says that teams have been previously sent to observe the location for its possible use in the film. The article also claims that this specific location will have utmost importance in the upcoming film.
Also worth noting, the article calls the film "Extinct Rebirth", quite possibly confirming the film's Chinese title.
Along with the article, a major spoiler has been revealed as well.

cmraseye we have a couple of shots showing off two items on set: a clapper board and (possibly) Bay's laptop. What's so special about these two items? The board has some robot CGI art on it, and the laptop appears to show some images which may or may not be a Dinobot. The images are not particularly clear, but we have been able to enlarge and magnify them - so feel
free to speculate in the Energon Pub: Dinobots, yay or nay?
