From Hasbro Pulse, we bring to you our next round of reveals from Hasbro Toy Fair 2020, this time in the form of Studio Series!
The Studio Series Reveals this year went heavy on the voyager class, with a leader and some deluxes thrown in there too.
Up first are the 3 deluxe class figures, coming this fall: Dark of the Moon Topspin, Bumblebee movie Cliffjumper, and Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave. Topspin is the 2nd Wrecker from Dark of the Moon to appear, and transforms faithfully into his heavily armored NASCAR Jimmie Johnson #48 alt mode. And this time, he has fists with 5mm ports and his claws! We also get Soundwave who turns into a vague satellite form, as seen in Revenge of the Fallen. Finally, we have the Bumblebee movie Cliffjumper, who turns into his Cybertronian alternate form and has a robot mode faithful to his ill-fated movie self.
In the voyager class, we get a repaint of Rampage as Skipjack to make a more movie-accurate Devastator. We also get Sentinel Prime, the big bad from Dark of the Moon, complete with his double bladed sword. Up next is the final limb component to Devastator: Scrapper. And we wrap up with Bumblebee movie Blitzwing, finally getting his long awaited toy, even if the alternate mode is not movie accurate.
And in the Leader class, we get our first official images for Overload, who will form the lower torso to Devastator.
Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!
Firstly, while not directly Transformers related, Hasbro is bringing GI Joe back. There will be some new 6 inch figures coming out soon with Roadblock, Scarlet, Duke and Snake Eyes.
Now Transformers!
The panel is introduced by Gregg Berger as Grimlock (and as himself).
Netflix Series
We see a sneak peek at the Netflix War for Cybertron trilogy from Rooster Teeth.
It is three parts and Siege takes place in the final hours of the Cybertronian civil war. This will be a military story, with incredible stakes and the bonds that form on the battlefield.
We see stills from the show where we can see Elita One and Bumblebee.
The character designs are taken from the CAD data of the toys, including their transformation.
The trailer is shown. We see Ultra Magnus, Optimus, basically everyone from the Siege line. They look the same as the Siege toys, as told. The animation does not seem as slow as the previous web series but still not smooth either.
We see the Siege rereleases in new decos that we saw earlier today. All will be sold at Walmart.
The Mirage we saw is a Deception disguise
Each figure comes with a piece of Teletran One and you have to collect all 10 figures to build it.
IDW
The new series will get to number 25 and Orion will finally be called Optimus Prime
Earthrise
This is about the journey to earth. A "story" never told before.
Most of the toys we saw in the leaks of the past 2 days are shown now.
Runumuk is shown first and Runabout will be revealed later this year.
Snapderagon and Double Dealer are part of the mercenaries fraction.
We do see Snapgradon's Kaiju mode. Doubledealer turns into a modular base as well.
3 Quintessons revealed.
The Judge which can switch faces with a switch in the back. Comes with a throne which becomes a battle station. The whole figure becomes a playset. A micromaster can go inside the little cage.
Alicon is there and we see Slither Fang who is a cobra that turns into a shield and modular ramp.
Sky Lynx is shown. Has all his 4 modes plus a 5th mode as a bade and the NASA logo is on the shuttle mode. The shuttle is called "the magnificence"
Scorponok is shown, he will be in scale with Fort Max. Great poseability and double headmaster. G1 base will connect to Omega Supreme and all the other modulars from Earthrise.
Generations Selects
This niche ecomm line was a success. There is a 4 pack cassette pack which will complete your cassettes and also give you Doubledealer's aprtners. Warden confirms the blue cassette is Frenzy.
Today Hasbro held a preview event for Toy Fair 2020 for their investors. Some of the information was for those in attendance only but the audio and presentation slide show from the event was available for Seibertron. Out of the almost three hour presentation there are a few major points that will interest Transformer fans:
- The new War for Cybertron animated series will finally debut on Netflix this year! A preview was available those in attendance only but is likely to be available for wider audiences tomorrow or soon after Toy Fair.
- Transformers and G.I. Joe media are being handed to company eOne. No clear details on future plans but mention of work on projects for both brands.
- New console game (Switch/VR) titled Transformers: Doom of Cybertron is in the works.
Toy Fair hasn't even started and its cup is already running over. Make sure to stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest in Toy Fair 2020 Transformers news!
Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, CommunistPrime has uncovered listings for upcoming Studio Series releases, and while most we have heard of before (indeed we have recently seen in package images of Sentinel Prime and what Rampage redeco Skipjack looks like as Devastator's leg) there is still a suprise hidden within, that of Transformers Bumblebee movie Cliffjumper!
The listings are for:
Voyager Class Megatron (Movie 1) repack
Voyager Class Mixmaster repack
Voyager Class Skipjack
Voyager Class Sentinel Prime

There is also a Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave listed which is probably a Deluxe Class to fit in with his Dark of the Moon release.
Of course there is no images for any of these on the listings but with Toy Fair 2020 on February 22nd, who knows what Hasbro will bring to the table. Keep your optics on Seibertron as we bring you news from the fair!

We have some more news regarding the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Sentinel Prime. Firstly, we have an extra image of his box from a Korean distributor site. The listing also claims he is a voyager, which is something fans were not sure of yet. Further confirming that is a case breakdown thanks to JT Prime who tells us that the wave 9 voyager case will contain the following:
Jtprime17 wrote:For anyone interested the wave 9 Voyager assortment is the following and has an estimated release date of April.
Case assortment:
1x Sentinel Prime
1x Scrapper
1x Mixmaster (repack)
We also have new stock images of upcoming studio series deluxes Jeep Bumblebee, Shatter and Roadbuster.
These images come from In Demand Toys.
Thanks to our own D-Maximal_Primal we've learned about an image of what appears to be Studio Series Sentinel Prime posted to Twitter via user Weebot17. Although there has been no official statement regarding a Sentinel Prime coming from the Studio Series line this appears to be quite official. Shout out to fellow Seibertronians LinaNui and Hellscream9999 for letting us know about the same image found over on Instagram which you can find HERE:
Given the current scaling it is likely Sentinel will be a leader class but there doesn't appear to be clear indication on the box. With a Leader class Dark of the Moon Megatron, and a Voyager class 2007 and Revenge of the Fallen Megatron, it's possible he could be a large Voyager; let the debate begin. Now your Dark of the Moon final battle scene will be complete! Be sure to share your thoughts in the forum and stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Greetings Seibertronians! Hot from the reveal of Studio Series Devastator this weekend at Wonder Festival 2020 [Winter], fellow Seibertron user, MadProject, has pointed our optics over to the Transformers Official Instagram account who have sent out their own picture of Devy, with one major difference. In this picture, Devastator has a yellow leg. This is our first look at Skipjack, the new name for the yellow rampage, seen in the Revenge of the Fallen movie.
Skipjack is a redeco of Voyager Class Rampage and is rumoured for release at some point in 2020.
Are you looking forward to getting a new leg for Devastator? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
There have been a lot of surprises this weekend at Wonder Festival 2020 [Winter], but for fans of both Transformers and anime figures one of the biggest may be the addition of Optimus Prime and Bumblebee from the Bumblebee movie to Good Smile Company's Nendoroid line. For a line that includes everything from video game icons like Mario and Sonic to super heroes like the JLA and Avengers and is currently well over 1,500 figures strong between different scales and types, it's something of an honor to be included. Not much is known just yet about the figures like if they will have swappable parts and expressions or what type of accessories they'll include, but that information should trickle out soon enough. What we do know is that they'll be manufactured by Sentinel, the same company that brought us those non-transforming 24" Scorponok and Black Zarak figures back in 2014 and the transforming pens so this isn't their first time handling the Transformers license. Plus we have our first photos direct from the event thanks to Twitter user @Chohenken!
What do you think of these new Nedoroid Transformers figures and would you like to see the line expanded to include characters from other movies and other corners of the franchise? Be sure to sound off in the Energon Pub Forums!
Wonder Festival 2020 is now underway in Japan with the displays finalized and image coming in from various twitter accounts and websites. Below you can see Studio Series Devastator in his fully colored combined mode, including his final two components, Leader Class Overload and Voyager Class Scrapper. Feast your eyes below on the mighty Constructicon combiner in all his glory!
We see all of the individual Constructicons on display as well. The combined mode is displayed with a pyramid recreating the final battle of Revenge of the Fallen, on a thematic level. That Devastator is custom painted though.
So now that we've finally seen Studio Series Devastator's final two components, and his fully combined form, are you excited to complete this massive combiner? Let us know what you think below, and stay tuned to Seibertron for the latest from Wonder Festival 2020!
Greetings everyone. With all the Transformers Earthrise figures starting to show up at brick and mortar retail, it is only natural that we should have a commercial to accompany the release of this line. In the commercial we get a CGI intro with Astrotrain entering Earth's atmosphere with Optimus Prime and Cliffjumper taking aim. It then cuts away to show off some of the different products that will be part of Earthrise's wave 1 set of figures, while being narrated by Optimus himself. It definitely sounds like the work of Jon Bailey doing his Prime voice. Check it out below. Note the version of the Optimus Prime figure they use here has the yellow eyes and grey hands.
Earthrise hype continues to build with the figures getting into peoples' hands earlier than the expected March release of wave 1 and with NY Toy Fair just over a couple of short weeks away, excitement continues to grow as we prepare for the the full unveiling of some highly anticipated figures!
Are you pumped up for Earthrise after watching the commercial? Let us know in the comments below and keep it tuned to Seibertron.com for all your Transformers needs!
