In this quick video, Hailee Steinfeld talks about how excited she is to be a part of the upcoming Bumblebee: The Movie. For those who do not know Hailee Steinfeld's character is a girl named Charlie who discovers Bumblebee near a junkyard. The two develop a connection and team up for adventure. We can tell that she is a fan of Bumblebee as a character and admires the heart that this robot has. We have posted the video below so that you can see for yourself!
If you would like to know more about Hailee Steinfeld we have an interview with her about the soundtrack from Bumblebee: The movie.
Via the Peruvian fan group on Facebook Transformers Perù, we have a new set of listings of toys bound to arrive in stores and retailers in the country in the short to mid term future for a number of Transformers toylines. The highlight of the post, in the images seen below, is twofold: alongside Generations Power of the Primes deluxes and the Authentics line (which we are already seeing across the globe), we also have full confirmation of the first wave of Studio Series deluxes: Bumblebee (Stryker), Stinger, Crowbar and Ratchet!
What is also noteworthy is that the listing includes both Hasbro and Takara Tomy in the line's producers, in keeping with the recent announcement of unified brand efforts. Check out the image and the wave breakdown below, and join the discussion in the Energon Pub!

Prime 1 Studio, notable manufacturer of licensed Transformers statues, is back at it once more, this time sharing a teaser image on their Instagram: a close-up of a gray, prototype statue based on the Transformers franchise. While only the lower torso and upper legs of the statue are depicted, details appear to closely match Optimus Prime's powered-up-by-fallen-ally form seen in the climax of 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen film.
Variously dubbed "Jet Prime", "Jetfire Prime", "Jetfire Optimus" and other similar iterations by fans, this memorable configuration formed by Optimus Prime and a dismantled Jetfire has received a few toys over the years since the film's release, but lacks a high-end collectable quite like the ones Prime 1 Studio is known for. Once the statue is fully revealed you can bet we'll share the news, but for now, check out the current image below and on Prime 1 Studio's Instagram page.
Does the idea of a Jetfire Optimus statue appeal to you, or is it just too much ado for something with such a brief (albeit memorable) appearance? Let us know your thoughts in the Energon Pub Forums, and as always, stay tuned to Seibertron.com for your daily dose of Transformers news!

Courtesy of Takara Tomy, we have details about the regularly occuring event Wonderfest and its 2018 edition, and more specifically, the Takara Tomy Transformers presence at the festival. Wonderfest will take place concurrently with New York Toy Fair on Sunday 18th February 2018 (NYTF is 17-20th February), and only lasts the one day at the Makuhari Messe area in Chiba, outside Tokyo.
According to Takara Tomy, we will see their Power of the Primes figures debuting (though yes, they are the same as the Hasbro releases), as well as movieverse toys and displays covering lines such as Movie the Best, Lost Age, and The Last Knight, with some speculation about the new Studio Series too. The event will also bring an exclusive Takara Tomy Mall Evasion Mode Nemesis Prime, not available physically at the show but to be pre-ordered during Wonderfest, with delivery later in the week. We have an additional peek into the current state and direction of the upcoming Bumblebee The Movie, thanks to an interview from Billboard magazine! They stopped Hailey Steinfeld, the movie's star, on the red carpet of this year's Grammy's to ask her about her upcoming music and her upcoming Transformers project!
In addition to being an actress, she's a talented musician, with several chart-scaling hits, so obviously one of the questions asked was about if she had any intention to produce music for Bumblebee. She revealed she might be producing some and collaborating with...Bumblebee?!?!
Take a look at the full transcript of the interview below, speculate down in the Energon Pub Forums, and stay tuned to Seibertron.com for any further updates on Bee's budding music career!
INT: You're working on some new music you told, you told Billboard about some new music that you're working on and how it's going to take kind of a different direction this time around; what can we say about it?
H: Well you know it's funny, I'm, I'm in the process, I mean I've been, I've been working on music for a while, um, and it's funny cause obviously a movie can come up and take me sort of out of the game for two, three months. Um, and so I do feel like, as much as I could say I'm sort of in "album mode" or the "next EP" mode, I'm still experimenting. Uh, and I'm still really figuring out what that sound is and what direction we might call it. So um, I'm working on it.
INT: I like the, that's a good answer. Cause you've had lots of hits already, like over the past four years you keep having hit after hit. So whatever you're doing, it's working. Um, you're going to be an advisor on The Voice this season, um, you're going to be giving great sage advice to a lot of folks. What is a great piece of advice that you yourself have gotten, maybe from another musician in the business?
H: Well I am very lucky, I feel like I've, I've gotten quite a lot of great advice, um, from some amazing people and amazing artists. Uh, but I just think, really just never losing sight of, of who you are and what makes you happy. I think there obviously are a lot of people that are going to have a lot of opinions, um, about who you are, what you do, how you do certain things, how you look. Um, and it's important that regardless, whatever you end up doing is for you.
INT: One last question: You're in the new Bumblebee movie-
H: Yes!
INT: It's coming, I think at the end of this year.
H: Yeah.
INT: Are you going to be singing with the car? I'm just wondering.
H: *Laughs* Uh, there may be a little, uh, plot twist [joking tone] Bumblebee actually may be singing. Um, I do hope the, uh - the movie takes place in the 80's and there are some incredible 80's references in terms of music. So, I'm hoping that maybe uh, y'know, post-production-wise I can jump in on a, on a little something.
INT: 80's covers, perhaps?
H: 80's covers perhaps.
INT: Thank you so much Hailee, have a great night.
UK distributor Abgee has listed some new items on their website which appear to be new figures from the upcoming film. While we don't know everything about these new items there is much speculation to be done. We know that the new Voyager Class figure for Studio Series bears the code name 'Destroyer' and that the SKU does not match any known figure. There is another item by the code name 'Stryker' which is likely a code name for the Bumblebee movie and a possible dancing DJ figure.
While there are no pictures of these items available, we shall keep our optics open for them. If you find any information on them please do let us know. For a full list of these new items please refer to the Abgee website. In the meantime there are some previously listed Bumblebee: The Movie items.
We had covered a report of fans playing and testing the upcoming Transformers Studio Series Leader class Grimlock figure (which you can read for yourselves here), and now thanks to Weibo user 爆料人小明, it appears we may have a prototype of the very same, in the image mirrored below.
Take a look for yourself, let us know if you think this fits the mold (heh), and join the discussion in the Energon Pub. Are you excited for this new movieverse line? Are you expecting more news about it at Toy Fair 2018 later in February? Or is it something that holds no interest to you?
