The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.
These are some of those stories. This is:
It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted.
These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love.
No one has been paid for the production of these stories.
Today's piece is ”Silent Dance” Story and Art by Te (Jazz Chyk) Roof, Letters by Graham (The Hub) Thompson

Simon Furman has once again updated his
blog, this time with many hints and teasers about the upcoming Beast Wars: the Ascending Issue #4, to be released Wednesday the 9th of January.
In his short recap Furman discusses Guido Guidi and his efforts on the art side, after replacing Don Figueroa who left the series at after issue #3, and a brief recap of the issue.
Furman concludes his synopsis with a cryptic clue...
Suffice it to say, the action starts on page 1 and doesn’t stop until page 22. And inbetween there’s triumph, torment and tragedy aplenty. No one is guaranteed to survive (and many don’t) and no happy endings are assured. In fact, as so often happens, the ending is also a beginning. Those who know their Beast Wars will be pleased the final scenes on page 22 (I hope!).
There are spoilers aplenty in this
blog update, especially for those who may have not kept up to date with the series, so consider yourselves forewarned.
Furman also has a link to Don Figueroa's cover for Issue #4, which you can also see below:

The
Transformers Mosiac team seem to be getting themselves ever more and more exposure.
Shortly after the release of their first comic "series"
War Journal,
Transformers Mosiac script writer Josh van Reyk has been interviewed by
Newsarama.
In the Interview Josh talks about his involvement in the creation process of both the Mosiac and War Journal projects, who else was involved in the War Journal project and what we can look forward to for the rest of 2008.

Simon Furman has updated his
blog once again, to fill us all in on some details about his work in the UK Transformers Magazine.
Rather than dipping back into the past to explore what happened before the All Spark arrived on Earth, ‘Starscream’s Brigade’ picks up on events immediately after the movie’s climactic battle between Megatron’s Decepticons and Optimus Prime’s Autobots, and features a titanic struggle against foes the Autobots thought already defeated.
Furman has also posted up a link of the cover of Transformers UK #7, which you can see by
clicking here.
According to
Diamond Select Distributors release list,
IDW Publishings Beast Wars Sourcebook #3, will also be released today, and will retail for US$6.99.
And don't forget you can discuss all the storylines, editing issues and omissions and more in our
Cartoon and Comics Forum.

As we earlier reported
here, Simon Furman has released some information about an upcoming series that he himself calls "epic".
It would seem as though more details have been leaked by none other than
IDW Publishing Editor in Chief Chris Ryall; who has this to say in response to questions from Seibertron's own Grifter Prime:
Q: By the way, not really knowing that I might get an answer, but any BIG Transformer stories or news this year coming up?
A: Biiig things for the TFs this year, yeah, something no one knows about yet.
Q: The dead universe? Or is it the story that goes WAY back in the TF History?
A: Neither one, actually. Although we're also going to do the TF origins this year, too. That one will be called "The Thirteen."
Ryall also preceded to provide
this link, which will take you to the "Swear Allegiance" teaser Image that we earlier
reported here.
One could assume that the TF Origins series would be referring to the
IDW Publishing version of the Original 13, but as yet it cannot yet be confirmed.
You can check out the original thread by
clicking here, and don't forget you can discuss all things comics, IDW or otherwise in our
Comics Thread.

Simon Furman has been busy over the New Year period, again updating his
blog, revealing many little tidbits of information on what we already knew to be coming up in the year 2008.
First off from me, a trio of Spotlights: Blaster, Arcee and Grimlock. All feed into the main ‘ongoing’ storyline to greater or lesser extents, with all three characters having scores to settle or something to prove (or both). Arcee is perhaps the most pivotal, but Blaster has definite repercussions, as does Grimlock, which in and of itself leads into one of my main IDW/TF projects for 08.
Furman also hints at which direction the upcoming main books will be travelling:
And, of course, there’s Revelation itself, the fourth (fifth including Stormbringer) arc in the IDW/TF-verse, as the Dead Universe storyline that’s been bubbling under for a while now explodes into (un)life!
Add to that a hint of the upcoming summer story:
There’s also a series that goes back to a time before anything we’ve seen so far in the new IDW/TF-verse, one that will underpin the entire Infiltration/Escalation/Devastation/Revelation continuity.
and finally add to all the IDW Transformers work; Titan UK Transformers stories alongside other works such as Torchwood, Dr Who and TMNT stories and you have one busy writer.
To read Furman's full blog update, please

in this thread.
