tfw2005.com member TheDevastator has posted that the over sized Transformers Legends of Cybertron combiners are now being recalled.
Read the original thread
here.
Or read below:
On October 17th of this year an email was sent out to Big Lots stores notifying them of a recall on the individually carded over-sized LOC bootleg figures. The next day, they sent a notice recalling the LOC bootleg combiners.
As stated in the email, the toys do not present a safety hazard. This is in fact a legal (copyright) recall. All of these toys will be pulled from the selves of Big Lots and destroyed. Even if you were to find these toys still on the selves, they should ring up on the register as "not for sale" or some other recall notice.
Thanks to Superquad7 for this image of one of the items being pulled:
This added to the removal of most bootlegs from ebay and various other websites is further evidence of Hasbro's dedication to removing bootleg Transformers from the market.
Stay tuned to seibertron.com for all your Transformers related news.

More KO's to be careful of: G1 Scourge, Cyclonus, and Reflector.
TFieds.com has pictures of the figures. These KO's are getting harder to tell from the real deal. If you want to learn more about the difference between legit and fakes – check out
HighendTFS.com, which has information about Cyclonus and Scourge.

A few weeks ago, Seibertron.com gave you the scoop on the upcoming
MECH RC Robots that were designed by Transformers Artists, Andrew Wildman and Don Figueroa. One of those artists, Andrew Wildman, has just updated his personal blogspot: Wildwords, with some more info regarding the release of the first robot.
It appears that the United Kingdom will get first dibs on these new creations. In an article that Wildman sites on his blog,
ElectricPig.co.uk states
"Often is the case that all the best consumer bots get their debuts in Asia or America but this fine specimen is set to hit the shops in early October and it’ll be UK consumers gloating to overseas robot lovers."
So our UK bretheren will get first crack at owning one of these bad boys, but apparently at a hefty price. The MECH RC bots are due to hit UK shelves in October of 2008 with a retail tag of £399.99. That's just over $800.00 USD, for your information.
But still, these new bots promise to bring a new revolution to the industry of home robotics.
"Ready to run straight out of the box after a battery power-up the Mech RC uses an entertaining on-screen software which you manipulate the movements of the robot as an animation then load up your action sequence."
Electric Pig stated that it will be allowed the first test run of the robots prototypes in the coming weeks.
Seibertron.com will continue to update you on these new robots as developments occur.

JizaiToyz has updated its website again with a new project that's in the works. From what the pictures show, it appears to be Headmaster Megatron, simliar
to the perfect transformation Ironhide reported a while back.
From the looks of the pictures, this looks to be well into the concept stage with alot of things that need to be figured out. Stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more details on this project as they become available.

I have a source, who wishes to remain anonymous, that recently answered questions about the high-quality, ultra realistic KO's status.
Please note that the exact phrases have been changed slightly.
: |
1. Are KO's banned from ebay?
Yes, ebay has taken off all KO Transformers from their auction sites. It is a violation of their policy.
2. Where can I find those high qualities KO's besides eBay?
We are not sure; you might try with your regular channel to obtain KO Transformers. It is quite difficult to buy now. And also Hasbro has taken action against sellers to protect their Transformer Intellectual property which belongs to them. Some of the online shops were told to take off the KO transformers, if not Hasbro will take legal action against them.
3. Any new releases for KO Transformers planned?
There are scheduled to be releases of Cyclonus, Scourge and Snarl. But with the current situation it becomes uncertain. To date Devastator and Reflector are still available.
4. And the status of Sunstreaker and Wheeljack?
No information from supplier. There is a rumor that the manufacturer has a lack of funds, but no confirmation yet.
5. The Future of KO Transformers?
With all of this banning on KO Transformers, we are not certain.

So will HASBRO's actions put the final nail into the KO coffin? It seems likely based on this information, but as the source stated, no one is sure where things are going, but it appears that signs are not good for the KO's future. Maybe, just maybe, HASBRO sees the desire for these expensive KO's and will work to re-establish their re-issue (Commemorative) line in the future, and fill the demand for new collectors to get representations of what are now old, and rather expensive items.
The KO market was making this an affordable way to collect for some, whether you agree with it is something else entirely.

A while back Seibertron.com site owner Seibertron reported that certain eBay auctions were being
removed by HASBRO, Inc.. Now reports are coming in that eBay is removing all listings for
knockoff Transformers put up for auction or buy it now sale.
Could this be HASBRO finally taking action against the KO problem that has infested the TF market for so long? Is this eBay taking action on their own to prevent the sale of possibly fraudulent items? Right now its anyone's guess.
Seibertron.com was first to bring you this information and will continue to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Seibertron's own Scaleface has come across a large allotment of "new" Knock Off (or KO) figures.
These figures stretch from the Classics line to the Movie and beyond, there is now even a Masterpiece Prime Knock Off.
Seibertron.com does not endorse the production, selling or trading of Knock Off Transformers, and as such will
not be posting links to where these figures may be purchased.
Instead, please use the Images below to ensure that you do not accidentally purchase a KO figure, believing it to be the real deal. And always remember, if a deal seems too good to be true, it most probably is.
KO Transformers Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime
KO Transformers Movie Voyager Blackout (In Artic and Desert Camo)
KO Transformers Movie Voyager Ratchet
KO Transformers Movie Simplified Supreme Bumblebee
KO Classics Deluxe Astrotrain
KO Titanium Soundwave
KO Alternator Jazz
KO Masterpiece Prime
