Sandy Cohen from the
Associated Press, describes how the
Transformers Movie brings back memories from the 1980's.
Their mythology is about good versus evil on a very basic level,' Lorenzo di Bonaventura said, adding that in that regard 2007 is the perfect time to retell the Transformers story.
In the `80s, 'the world didn't seem quite as threatening a place, but from a creative point of view, it ... was a decade when people seemed to want to explore larger-than-life characters and take them to a place they had previously not been doing,' he said. 'It was a time period that was searching for its own identity, much as we are now.

MSNBC has put up a article about how the
Transformers Movie is bringing back the nostalgia for old Transformers fans.
“If there is a way for them to reach into the core of me and bring out a piece of my childhood, I think they did that,” said Yee, an IT consultant from Elizabeth, N.J., who saw clips of the film at New York’s Toy Fair this year and plans to see the whole thing six days early at BotCon, the annual Transformers convention being held in Providence this month.

After months of only hearing from the movie people (with the exception of Hasbro's COO Brian Goldner), I've got just one question ...
HASBRO WHERE ARE YOU???
By "Hasbro", I'm referring to the people that come to the conventions every year such as Aaron Archer and Michelle Field (does she still work with the Transformers brand?). Where are the people that understand what the Transformers fans want the most? Where are the people who we've been hearing from since the early days of Botcon?
Hasbro, where are you?

You'll never believe who Mystery, Inc. discovers is under the monster's costume when they take off his mask. We were just as surprised as you!
