FantoFan has reported that Trans Scanning Optimus Prime TS-01 has been released. As reported previously, the Trans Scanning figures feature an internal skeleton that have interchangeable parts and panels that attach allowing it to simulate a Protoform or Earth vehicle form. Included with the package is a foldout double sided catalogue featuring the Movie Transformers.

Yesterday, in the news thread
here, it was reported that the new HasbroToyShop Catalog had Animated toys for order, and when contacted HasbroToyShop representatives were sharing with these inquiring minds that the Animated toys would be available to order on Tuesday next week.
At that time there were no listings online to support this, only the catalog.
Now we have proof that they will be going live soon, as there are now entries for each toy that state they are currently
'Out of Stock', although there are no images for the toys yet.

Is this further proof that these toys will indeed be available on Tuesday? Will they be able to be ordered, but then you have to wait until June to have them shipped, or will they be able to be shipped right away? Please chime in with your thoughts, and please let us know if you are successful in ordering them!

Seibertron.com member, Cap'n_falcon222, has received the Transformers Animated catalogue. The catalogue indicates that the Deluxe class will be $9.99 and the Voyager class will be $19.99.
Several Transformers fans are reporting that representatives on Hasbro’s toll-free line are indicating that the 1st Wave will be released March 25th.

The Canadian Transformers Convention formerly known as TransformersCon is back. This year the convention has changed its name and has a sponsor in Toys "R" Us. The name of the convention is TFcon Toronto. The convention will be held on June 21, 2008 at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel. Toys "R" Us Canada will support the convention through various means including the distributation of TFcon promotional material in Toys "R" Us stores. This years convention will include a Hasbro Canada Transformers question and answer panel, Canada's largest dealer room for Transformers merchandise, a live Transformers script reading with a Transformers voice actor, guest question and answer panels, autograph sessions, a Transformers trivia contest, art and costume displays, with more to be announced. The MP Starscream & MP Skywarp Coronation set from TFC Toys is now available for pre-order at the
Big Bad Toy Store. The two coronation sets feature different colored capes, crowns, and shoulder guards.
