While that final wave of Siege was scheduled for 2019, there was very little of that stock to go around in Canada. Now, in January, Walmart is finally stocking this final wave in decent numbers and it even has its own display area where you can find Transformers Siege Astrotrain, Crosshairs, Apeface and Spinister. That same display stand also has G1 Astrotrain for $70. These are appearing all across the country.
The latest Cyberverse multipacks, which includes the Hot Rod and Sharkticon set and the Quintesson set, were found at Toysrus in Ontaria. The prices are rather high with the Quintesson set being upwards of $40 CAD. This was found by Matrix Holder over at Cybertron.ca.
Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to an Eagle eyed twitter user, @Waspshot23, we have our first sighting of the new Ultimate Class Optimus Prime figure for the Transformers Cyberverse line in the UK! This toy features flip out Energon Armour like his wave mates, speaking of...
The user also spotted Ultra Class Clobber on the shelf next to Prime! She features the same gimmick as Optimus. Check out the image below!
This is what the twitter user had to say about the sighting:
@Waspshot23 wrote:Sad to report Clobber is tiny but that brick Optimus? Weighs a ton. Could club someone with it.
It's hard to tell which store this sighting was made at.
Will you be hunting either of these down? Do you want a Clobber to go with your Lugnut? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!
With the new year now in full swing, the remaining Studio Series figure due out in January have now been found in both the US and Canada. These are the two leaders, Shockwave and Scavenger. While they were available online, they are now in stores too. In Canada, these two were found at EB Games stores. The sightings come from Cybertron.ca members wesperino, Prime Sinister and CSpray. The prices were $62.99 CAD for Edge Members and $69.99 for non members.
TF Fan NothingHead, over at TFW2005, posted a finding of these same leaders. These were found in an Orlando Walmart for $49.99 USD.
The War for Cybertron: Earthrise toy line is highly anticipated, even though only the first wave of figures has been officially revealed. Though they were due to hit retail later this quarter, Seibertronian TFfangeek has already found the Micromaster packs at a Target in Portland, Oregon! These two packs contain Decepticons Bombshock and Growl, and Autobots Daddy-O and Trip Up. This marks the first sighting of any Earthrise figures in the United States so hopefully, the rest of the first wave won't be far behind.
Does this amp up your anticipation for Earthrise? Let us know if you plan on getting these newest figures, and if you happen to be out and about and spot a figure that's new to retail that we haven't reported, please contact us with photo proof (as above) and your news will be featured on our front page! Happy Hunting, fellow Seibertronians!
Fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 has found the Botbots series 4 special multi packs Target. For those unaware, there are two different Claw Machine boxes and two different Gumball Machine boxes. Each has five regular BotBots, four stickers, and one rare Gold BotBot.
TF-fan kev777 wrote:Not sure if this is news worthy or not, but I spotted the Botbots unboxing gumball machine 10-packs (6-packs really) at Target today so they appear to have arrived at US retail.
This weekend, a Target store in Gurnee, IL (home of Chicagoland's Six Flags Great America theme park) debuted a dedicated Transformers end cap, which mostly featured Transformers Cyberverse products. Among these products were BotBots, Cyberverse Power of the Spark 1-Steps, Cyberverse Adventures Deluxes (Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Shockwave and Megatron), Cyberverse Elite Class, Cyberverse Ultra Class, Cyberverse Battle for Cybertron Quintesson Invasion set and Sharkticons Attack set, Cyberverse Ultimate Class, Cyberverse 2-pack with Warrior Class Optimus Prime and Starscream, and War for Cybertron SIEGE Leader Class.
Don't forget to share your sightings of new Transformers products with your fellow Seibertronians on our Sightings forum and in our Sightings section! Keep scrolling below for Target DPCI codes and links to specific sighting pages for these items.
If you are hunting down and of the new products shown on the end-cap in the images above, we've included the Target specific DPCI codes (shown below) to help you out.

And just for fun (because we can), check out this animated GIF of Hasbro's first 5 headed Quintesson Judge. Could this Quintesson lead to more? With rumors of an Alicon and others, perhaps 2020 will become the year of the Quintessons!
Good news for those who found the Walmart exclusive Transformers G1 Astrotrain reissue a tad too expensive. Fellow Seibertronian Ironhidensh has found on at his local Walmart for $39.73. This almost immediate $10 drop in price now brings this reissue to the same price as the original was sold in certain places. Below we can see an image of the original Astrotrain still in box and still with a price tag of 14.99, the same price point as the G1 seekers at the time. Adjusted for average inflation, that would make it $37.11 US today so very close to what the reissue is going for. And of course, with this toy out there you no longer have to pay $700 if you want an authentic G1 Astrotrain sealed in box.
We have news that the latest Transformers Studio Series deluxe class figures have been found at US retail. This includes Soundwave, 2007 Bumblebee, WWII Hot Rod and the Arcee triplets. SideSwipe75, from TFW2005, found then at a Walmart in Kentucky. We have a pictorial review for Bumblebee and Soundwave up for a while now and below you will also have video reviews for all four figures.
