Hello one and all! When the Dirge and Ramjet two pack came and went on Amazon a few years ago, many were frustrated that not only were they exclusive figures of well-known characters, but they were in limited quantities, and the aftermarket prices skyrocketed. Well, last year, we learned that Hasbro was planning on re-releasing Dirge in the mainline Legacy Evolution. The figure only had one change from the original, with yellow plastic for the wings, rather than the painted wings of the Amazon release.
In any case, the wait for that figure is over, as both Tuned Agent and Cyber Bishop have reported finding not only Dirge, but his wavemate Nemesis Leo Prime at U.S. retail! Both were found at U.S. GameStop stores (where new Transformer figures have been showing up with increasing regularity lately). Photo proof from Tuned Agent is included below.
Are any of you looking forward to these figures? You may want to check your local Game Stop if you're in the U.S. Let us know what you think below!
Gamestop has been the place to go for preorders and new Transformers figures in the US and Canada. Case in point: Beachcomber, Axelgrease and Devcon have been found in both US and Canadian Gamestop stores. Now the stores don't carry a lot more than what was preordered so it's not guaranteed you'll find all these three toys in stock at every location. The sightings come from all over the place in either country, but the image below was taken by fellow Seibertronian Cyber Bishop who found their copy in Louisianna. These are set to be shipped out by online retailers very soon as well.
We have video reviews below of the three figures. Let us know which of this wave you are planning on getting.
We have news that Transformers Legacy Evolution Nemesis Leo and Dirge have been found at Canadian retail. They were found at Gamestop stores, but not at the same time/locations, so they are shipping and arriving separately. The image below is from a Montreal location.
There was a pop up event in Taiwan and titan class Nemesis from the Legacy line was available for purchase. So now fans have it in hand. We have images below from Alex. Speaking of in hand pics, we also have some of core Snarl, which is a pretty big deal since he hasn't even been revealed yet. So this is our first look at not just him but a completed Volcanicus as well. Those images come from Yahoo Auctions.
And we thank fellow Seibertronian Rodimus Prime for letting us know that Armada Megatron was found their local Walmart in Georgia. All images are below.
Good time to visit your local Walmart, if you're in Canada. Not only are there some great new deals but there are also some new toys. Mainline voyager Rhinox from Transformers Rise of the Beasts just hit shelves, along with the latest wave of core class legacy figures (you can see all those on the shelf image below). We have some reviews of Rhinox for you below from our community.
Walmart has also got some nice deals on Transformers toys. The retro G1 releases are only $29 CAD (which is slightly above $20 USD), making Hound and Thundercracker 40% off. The ROTB Beast Weaponizer two packs (which I highly recommend to any parent who wants to get their 5-7 year olds into Transformers) are only $15 CAD ($11 USD). That is great value when you consider that it makes them the same price as the inarticulated Battle Changers.
While Jawbkreaer has yet to choose his alt mode in the Transformers Earthspark show, his spoilerific toy is being found in the US. Fellow Seibertronian Emerje found it in a Walmart in Maine. Starscream is part of the same wave of warrior class toys.
Emerje wrote:Found Jawbreaker (and Starscream) at Walmart tonight. He's pretty simple, but has an effective transformation. I like the way everything tucks away leaving him kibble free. Definitely a worthwhile Warrior class figure.
Toysrus Canada is getting rid of some overstock and Winners/Marshalls is getting it. The good news is Winners is using the already liquidated price from TRU as a basis for their discount, so toys are cheap. Case in point, the exclusive Silverstreak which is only 9.99 CAD (about $7 USD)
The latest core class wave for Legacy was found at a few Targets in the US. The specific sighitng below comes from California and was found by tfrockmaster. The wave has Swoop, Scarr and Starscream. We have video reviews below if you are curious to know as much as possible about these toys before buying them.

The G1 show colours Thundercracker has been found at US Walmarts for a little while now but few people have reported it in, maybe thinking it was old news. But for those unaware that it's been found, well now you know. For those curious, we have a review below showing the big differences in deco when comparing to the previous G1 reissue. This toy comes with no stickers and every detail is painted instead.
Transformers core class Studio Series 86 Ironhide was found today at a Gamestop in the province of Quebec by me. There is a picture of the sighting below. We also have reviews from our community members Thundertron and Chuckdawg, who even gives us a quick written review, that you can see below. It is unclear who else is being released with this Ironhide since Gamestop either gets solid cases or just certain items within a case per store.

chuckdawg1999 wrote:It was expected that a figure like Core Class Ironhide would be released following the release of Core Class Ratchet, as both share the same mold since the start of the franchise. Ironhide has a new head and a pelvic region that closely resembles the animation models. While there were some issues with panel fitting on my copy, overall, Ironhide is a decent figure that complements the other G1 Core Class figures.
