TF fan Chico reached out to us to let us know that they found the Transformers Cyberverse Adventures Dinobots Unite Roll and Change Bumblebee at a Walmart in California for $49.67. While they only found Bumblebee, the toy's wavemate is Optimus Prime. These are both big toys that have an auto converting gimmick. Chuckdawg has a video review of the Optimus figure below. and I made a review of the Bumblebee figure, which I really did not like (would not recommend to parents for their kids).

chuckdawg1999 wrote:The Cyberverse line has always given us new and inventive ways to transform and play with our Transformers, the Roll and Change line is no different. Optimus Prime features lights and sounds as well as some snap-on Energon blue body armor. The included sword is a great weapon but is also used as a lock to the changing gimmick. While the price might be a bit high for most, the toy is a solid, beefy, fun figure.

That didn't take long. After only a week of being found in Canada, the Transfomrers Cyberverse Dinobots Unite Roll N Change Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are appearing at US Walmarts as part of the back to school reset currently underway. Regardless of what you feel on the line, it's good to have some Transformers toys on shelves and we hope that means more is underway. Both are $50 and that hefty price tag is due to them being larger than even ultimate class Cyberverse figures, with more accessories (detachable armour) and lights and sounds. Intrepid TF fan Cardion took a bullet for all of us and bought the Optimus Prime figure on Amazon to see what it was all about and was rather surprised by this child's toy. You can read the full review below but in short, they seemed impressed with the auto converting gimmick which is more involved than previous attempts and they were surprised by the articulation in the upper half after assuming (as we all did) that this figure was just a brick. Of course, the gimmick being involved means there are lots of steps to get it back to vehicle mode and the lower half of the body is almost devoid of articulation as we all could guess.

Enjoy the pics and the review along with this video showing the gimmick.

First impression: He's okay.

The Negatives: The primary auto-transform, which is his big selling feature, is on a hair-trigger. This made him a bit of a pain to transform into truck. Plus, the auto-transform still requires a bit of shoulder manipulation. Also, those legs are both immobile and can do the splits. Pretty crazy.

The Positives: Upper body was more flexible and articulated than I expected. His head sculpt is a gorgeous show accurate representation, and his head can pivot! I love his weight. He feels very solid. I can imagine 8-year old me going crazy over the light and sound clips (very short though). The sword and claws are a nice touch, although I'm not a fan of the chest armor. He sizes pretty well with my one large Cyberverse Megatron.

Overall: Good toy. Fun. Probably could have waited for him to go on sale for $45 or $40 though. For what he is, I'm super-glad I got him.

There were Target listings found a few months ago for a $50 Optimus Prime and Megatron that were unrelated to any line. Well, now we know what those "toys" are. They are, in fact, statues. While many fans have seen this new statue at Gamestop, they are now making their way to Target months later. We have an image of the sighting thanks to TF fan Prime Rising. It is a statue based on Optimus Prime's G1 cartoon design. The news here is that we now know which "toy" was linked to that new Target listing we had found. Turns out it isn't that new a toy.

Fellow Seibertronian D-Maximal_Primal found Transformers Masterpiece MPM 12 Optimus Prime at his local Target. This toy should have reached most areas of the US by now. The toy was $125.99 USD. He wrote a pictorial review for us, which you can read below:

Transformers News: Sighting and Pictorial Review of MPM

First off, let's start with the strongest part of the figure, and the part that really got me excited right out of the box: the robot mode. The robot mode on this figure is stunning. The detail is incredible on the mold. The wash effect across portions of this figure contribute to the detailing and molded in greeble, and produced a pretty spectacular effect the whole way around. It is a gorgeous looking robot mode, with a ton to look at.

The articulation department is frustratingly close to being spot on. The main issue is the head: it can basically only swivel, there isn't a lot of up and down motion to be had, and coupled with the darker eyes means it's hard to get him really looking at something above his chest level. He also really needed a knuckle joint on his pointing finger, but that's a more minor complaint in the grand scheme. Outside of that, the articulation is solid and he can pose it up pretty good.

The gun is pretty big and pretty neat, but it does have an issue where it can only be held in the normal hand to forearm position, otherwise it is not tall enough to clear the forearm for poses like the 2-handed gun pose, but you can still make do with the way the hands function to loosely hold the gun.

The matrix included is a nice touch, if a bit out of place considering Prime wasn't shown to have something like this. But it is neat and a nice touch to the overall package.

Transformers News: Sighting and Pictorial Review of MPM

Transformation isn't too bad on this, it is mostly straight forward, and things are mostly going where you expect them to. The grill becoming the movie accurate back was neat.

But you can definitely tell this figure really focused in on that robot mode and not the alt mode. The alt mode is definitely the weakest point on this figure. The back seems too long, the wheel base feels too long from front to back wheels, and the area from the smokestacks on back just isn't that good. The alt mode definitely feels like a victim of budget cuts or trying to avoid over-complicating things. The gun storage is also pretty weak, but it is what it is.

So overall, this figure ain't bad. The robot mode is a rockstar that I would say is pretty near perfect, a 9 out of 10 at least. He just needed a little more in the head and hand position. Transformation is pretty involved but not stupid complicated. But the alt mode lets it down.

Overall, I'd say this is maybe a 7 out of 10? I don't want to be too harsh, but the alt mode is pretty disappointing in the back despite the badass robot mode.

I would recommend him though. The design is pretty good, and the robot mode has some mass to it and really plays the part.

People have been showing a lot of images of barren Transformers shelves lately, which doesn't just suck for us collectors but for kids wanting to buy toys with their birthday money or parents looking for Transformers toys. Well, looks like a new Cyberverse Dinobots Unite Subline is slowly making it's way onto Canadian and American shelves to start bringing more life to them. Canada just got the Dinobot combiners Bumblebeswoop and Slugtron. They retail for $36 CAD and were found at Walmart. Those two are the only ones that come in the cases being sent so the other dinobot combiners will appear in a different wave. The bigger Roll and Change Optimus Prime and Bumblebee toys were also found at Walmart and can be seen in the same image.

In the US, things are starting really slow with the first items coming to shelves being the reviled scout class figures. Reports come from all across the US. They are all rereleases with nothing new, but they do include Ramjet who some liked since he does give the illusion of fully transforming from one mode to the next. More are bound to come, especially since they are appearing in Canada.

If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

while some fans are upset at Transformers Studio Series thrust for not being red, Armada fans are pleased with the homage. Plus, this is a different thrust from either, being part of the Bumblebee movie and not being a conehead, but having a triangle placed behind his head instead. If you do want him, the toy is now available to ship from Target.com, this is the link:

We thank TF-fan kev777 and D-Maximus Primal for letting us know. The toy was also found, along with his wavemate Wreck-Gar, on shelves at Walmarts in Missouri and Louisianna, among other places. The photo below comes from

This will be good news for those looking for this exclusive figure. The Red Card Early Access Kingdom T-Wrecks is now found in Target stores for the common folk. It has been appearing in either end caps or near the other Transformers in several different Targets across the US. The images below come from Target in Kentucky and Illinois.

We have new US Sightings for the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line. Firstly, the Crash Combiners Primelock and Bumblegrim were found at a Target in Milltown, New Jersey. Secondly, at that same Target, the Worlds Collide 4 pack (the one with Fangry) was also found. While it was previously found at Walmart, it was never in the system. This time, it very much is, since we've already seen the listing for this Target exclusive, and is priced at $84.99 USD. The Walmart inventory was clearly a mistake and you should probably only look at Target if you are on the hunt for this set.

If you have found them, share your sightings with our community in the sightings section and on our boards in your region related thread.

Both sightings come from TFW2005 user shadow panther. Vector Oracle from the same site, shared some in hand images of the crash combiners for those curious of the new decos.

We have news that Transformers War for Cybertron Kingdom Titan Ark and Commander Rodimus Prime have been found at US retail. They were both found at Target. O.Supreme's family found the Ark and Instagram user @inpursuitoftoys found Rodimus at a Target in Arizona. O.Supreme used Brickseek in his quest, here is what he posted:

o.supreme wrote:Well it looks like miracles can still happen, my wife and daughter just reported finding The Ark at our local Target.
So I am happy to report that Brickseek still does work with Target DPCI 087-16-4340 for the Ark if anyone is interested. (Looks like 3 of the 10 stores in my area might have got one case this morning)
Rodimus Prime is 087-16-4302.

So lots of news to get through on this Target find. A new case of Transformers product was found at Target and inside it were four boxes of four packs (as it says on the case). We then got images of three of the boxes found inside. They are all repacks of Studio Series figures and those figures are:

SS27 Clunker Bumblebee vs SS28 Barricade
SS18 VW Bumblebee vs SS46 Car Dropkick
SS79 High Octane Bumblebee vs SS02 Stinger

These represent the first time these characters met, which reminds us that Bumblebee was in his High Octane mode when he first saw Stinger.

Speaking of which, the SS79 High Octane Bumblebee is the same toy we got in Age of Extinction and thus this tells us that the Studio Series 79 toy will simply be that toy rerelerased. Many AOE toys did end up in the "Premier Edition" Transformers TLK line which in turn has been grouped into the Studio Series line (with Cogman and Drift getting no mold changes). Does that mean we probably won't get a new mold for Crosshairs or Bugatti Drift? Don't know. All the images were posted by TFW2005.
