While Transformers: The Last Knight deluxe Hot Rod has been found in the UK as well as available for ordering from Walmart.com in the US, there was no word of it ever reaching Canada. It was not part of their holiday catalog where they highlighted some of their exclusives and it never appeared on their walmart.ca website, not even as a placeholder listing. With the main Age of Extinction Walmart exclusives never making it to Canada a few years ago, several fans thought deluxe Hot Rod was simply not going to show up, and that pricey alternative channels were probably going to have to be used. However, we finally have news of it being found in a Walmart store in Canada. This specific sighting comes to us from timcrook of
cybertron.ca who found it in the Vancouver area.
There is still no word of the other Walmart exclusives that still have not reached the great white north such as the two packs that have recently
surfaced at Ross in the US. This is not an indication that this toy will appear in stores in the US since Walmart Canada is run independently, and channels by which particular toys are sold wildly differ with this figure never being offered online in Canada, for instance.
Good luck on the hunt everyone!

Along with the recent sighting - reported
here - of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise One Step Soundwave figure in both the US and Canada, we have confirmation of the same toy appearing charismatically in Australia too, thanks to the Ozformers discussion boards and member
Polursine. There are other items in the mix too, as you can see, but Soundwave itself is priced at 19 AUSD (if the labelling is on the correct peg, from the image).
In other news from Oz, fellow Seibertron.com staff member
Qwan used the sighting to check out their regular haunts, and came across the diecast Dickie Toys figurines from the very same Robots in Disguise section of the franchise, for 10$ AUSD each, featuring the likes of: Optimus Prime, Strongarm, Steeljaw, Sideswipe, Bumblebee and Drift. Check it all out below!

From fellow Seibertronian
Mindmaster, we have some in-hand images of the recently found at US retail Legend class Transformers Power of the Primes - namely Windcharger, Beachcomber, Dinobot Slash and the repurposes Insecticon Skrapnel - as we reported from Target stores.
You can find a quick summary of Mindmaster's thoughts on these four smaller toys, with Prime Master compatibility and comparison shots to other figures in the line, below!
Anyway, had some fun with them (case in point, Jurassic World reference with Slash and Windcharger using his “powers” on Beachcomber). If I had to choose a favorite, it would be Slash because she’s just freaking awesome but that’s not to say I dislike the other two. They’re all strong figures and worth getting! Just like the Deluxes, there appears to be variations of the collector card included with the Legends. I got excited at Beachcomber for a second because I saw the word “combined” and thought he could be a weapon or something with a combiner but then I finished reading and got really sad. Slash’s card is lamely yet joyfully optimistic, and Windcharger’s kinda eh.

There are still several toys left to be released at US retail for the Robots in Disguise line, before the next show toyline, Cyberverse, comes. A big returning character from Transformers Prime this season was Soundwave, in a new alt mode, and several toys in different classes were made for this character. The latest of which, the One Step Soundwave, has now hit both US and Canadian retail the very same week. The sightings below come from Scotty P who found it in Walmart in Cary, NC for $7.86 USD and from your fellow editor who found it in Walmart in Montreal, Qc for $9.92 CAD.
Below are images of both these sightings along with an image of the robot mode.
Other Robots in Disguise toys that have yet to be found at US retail would be warriors Bludgeon and Thermidor, legions Heatseeker, Cyclonus and Twinferno and Crash Combiners Optimus Prime/Grimlock and Saberhorn/Bisk. Let us know if ever you find those in the wild!

Fellow Seibertronian
Tranzilla e-mailed us some exciting insider information that will help you find the highly anticipated
Transformers Power of the Primes Wave 1 products. Tranzilla was able to confirm the Target DPCI numbers for each class size as well as Target's initial pricing. As you have probably already heard, the
Deluxe Class figures have already been showing up in Target stores around the US. Here's the information that he shared with us.
Tranzilla wrote:Located Slash, Skrapnel, Beachcomber, and Windcharger at the Target in Ellicott City, MD tonight. Also was able to confirm DPCIs for the upcoming releases. They are:
087-06-5845 Prime Masters $4.99
087-06-5849 Legends Class $9.99
087-06-5863 Deluxe Class $16.99
087-06-5868 Voyager Class $24.99
087-06-6020 Leader Class $44.99
Another user on Twitter,
@Frerebear, posted an image of the two Legends Class Dinobot Slash figure that was found at a Target store in
Ellicott City, Maryland.
You can use a website resource such as
Brickseek to see if your local Target store(s) has these products in back. If you can't find them in the toy section, just ask a friendly Target employee to help you out. Be sure to be nice to them, because they are doing you a favor and it's possible that they might not be able to pull figures from the back even if they do have them in stock.
If you find them in stock somewhere, please make sure to let other Transformers fans know by sharing your sightings in our
Sightings Section and our
Sightings forum. Happy hunting!
087-06-6020 Leader Class $44.99
087-06-5868 Voyager Class $24.99
087-06-5863 Deluxe Class $16.99
087-06-5849 Legends Class $9.99
087-06-5845 Prime Masters $4.99

Following the recent trend of Transformers metal signs at Hobby Lobby, a couple more have been listed for sale on their website! Thanks to a tip from Seibertron fan Tracy on facebook, we now know that metal signs featuring Optimus Prime and Bumblebee (
both of which were spotted in-store last month), and then a never before seen Optimus Prime metal light switch cover, are now for sale online.
While several of these TF signs
have been spotted at various Hobby Lobby stores across the country, (
even by yours truly) few, if any, have been seen listed on their website. You were mostly limited to the luck of the draw with Hobby Lobby distribution and occasionally, rarely, spotting one. So take this opportunity to snag one if you want!
Hobby lobby is also running a 50% off sale off all metal signs and decorations, making this deal even sweeter!
Check out the products' listings on the Hobby Lobby website here.

While this is not breaking news, the confusion regarding the revision waves for the Transformers Titans Return line made us think a quick article may be in order. Several fans are looking for wave 5 and 6 of the Titans Return deluxes at retail stores and are instead reporting toys they have seen all year long. However, it may not be older toys shelf-warming but instead a restock of several revision waves. And this is happening all across both the US and Canada. For instance, while wave 6, the one with Slugslinger, did appear in Canada for a very brief moment (as it did in the US), the restocks following those cases have been of the revised 4th wave, which can be seen in the images below (a case breakdown of the wave can be found at the end of this article). It appears to be the main wave used as a restock for this holiday season, as far as reported sightings are concerned.
There is
another revision wave, for wave 3, that can also be found but it is trickier to identify. It is basically the same as wave 3 but instead of having 3 Hot Rods and one Getaway it has 2 Hot Rod and 2 Getaways.
These two revision waves would explain the abundance of Twinfernos on the shelves.
Here is the case breakdown for deluxe class wave 4 revision, the wave currently being found across the US and Canada:
2x TRA GEN DELUXE AUTOBOT TWINFERNO
2x TRA GEN DELUXE TRIGGERHAPPY
2x TRA GEN DELUXE KROK
2x TRA GEN DELUXE QUAKE

We have some suprising tidbit of news, coming to us from Facebook collector group
Hobbymizer Hong Kong Discuss and their user Thomas Tam. You'll remember the flurry of activity that happened during New York Comic Con 2017, as the Hasbro exclusive Transformers Titans Return Grotusque was made available just after its reveal at the event itself, over on Hasbro Toy Shop (check
here for the story) - well, it looks like there may have been more in stock than initially thought, or the exclusivity wasn't as limited as we were led to believe, as the figure has turned up at retail in Hong Kong, allegedly at Toys'R'Us.
We don't know the sourcing of the figure for the store, whether Hasbro Asia had some extras in stock, or if this was intentional from thestart, but there you have it. Check out the image below, and let us know what you think in the Energon Pub discussion boards!

It is no secret that the handling of the exclusive Hot Rod toys in the US (and the rest of the world) could have been better. However, we do wish to help fans get these toys as much as possible and we have been made aware of new developments regarding the availability of some of those exclusive Transformers: The Last Knight Hot Rod toys.
Firstly, the deluxe figure (which is by all accounts an online exclusive) is
back in stock at Walmart.com for $19.13.
For those unable to get it at Walmart.com (especially international audiences), it is now available for a premium at
Bigbadtoystore.com for $34.99.
Lastly, it seems not all of Walmart's stock was dumped into the market six stores since the One Step two pack is now available on
Walmart's website for $16.19.
