Ryan, the site owner and father of seibertron.com has been working on improvements to the site and the forums. Below is a list of what he did, we at seibertron.com would also like to know from you how your forum experience could be improved, just click on the discuss topic button and take part in the discussion!
During the past week, I have implemented a ton of minor changes intended to improve everyone's experience here at the Seibertron.com Forums. Now that I've made several rounds of initial changes, I'd like to get your input about what you think could be done to improve the forums. I'd like to have this be an open discussion ... a sharing of our minds. There is no wrong idea, no stupid idea, no idea to small ... let's bounce ideas off each other to see what can be done to improve the forums.
Here are a few things that were changed in the past week:
1. Search engine friendly URLs ... this basically means the URLs for forums, topics and posts are now readable to the human eye. The URLs now also include keywords which will help improve Seibertron.com's results on various search engines.
2. I fixed some CSS (stylesheet) issues. I decreased the margins and padding to bring the whole page up about 30 or 40 pixels. Not a big issue until you're looking at the site on a mobile phone.
3. I fixed the CSS for the "advanced search" so that it would be a dark color on a light background instead of a light color on a light background.
4. I removed the "Smilies" text that appeared above the smilies below the textarea for editing posts. I think everyone knows what smilies are now ... no sense wasting space.
5. I decreased the font size of the text below the smilies, again to decrease the distance between the textarea and the submit button when you are editing a post.
6. I moved the "Moderator(s)" text string to the bottom of the forums and topics instead of appearing below the forum and topic name. If you guys need to find out who the appropriate moderator is for a particular forum, you can now find the links for the moderators at the bottom of the page instead of wasting space at the top of the page. Again, just trying to make the page more accessible.
7. I got rid of a few forums this past week. Merged the Philosopher's forum with General Discussion due to how little traffic the Philosopher's Forum got in the past year (not ever 100 topics). I looked through that forum and didn't see anything that couldn't have been discussed in General Discussion, which is the point of having a "general" discussion forum. I also merged HMW's Maximal and Predacon forums with their respective Autobot and Decepticon forums.
8. I moved the Toy Sightings forum to be a subforum of the Transformers Toys forum. I figured it would be more noticeable if the sightings forum was available in the toys forum. Hopefully this will get some more attention.
9. HMW, Transtopia, and RPG forums are now subforums of the "Feature Forums" section. None of the links changed, I just thought the front page of the forums might look cleaner, more focused, and less intimidating if the individual sub-forums for those sections didn't appear on the Forum's main page.
10. And of course, there's the new BB codes that allow you to easily post YouTube videos, do
strikes through text, and easily add
spoiler text (finally).
So now I turn to all of you. What ideas do you guys have? No idea is too small, not idea is too unimportant. Small details make the world of difference. Share your thoughts!

Transformers. What does the word mean to you? It's a passion. It's a dedication. It's a hobby. It's what you come to this website for. Ever since it's insertion in 1984, it's a franchise that has effectively been a part of our daily lives - it's a part of who we are. Among the hundreds of thousand Transformers fans, there are few and far between that can say Transformers has affected their interests, even so far as their job and lifestyle.
Simone Maganuco, also known as Seibertron.com member Yellow Camaro is one of the few who can fit the description above. After becoming a Dinobot fan at the age of 4, Transformers helped initiate his curiosity in meat eating Dinosaurs. 27 years later, Simone is a Vertebrate Palaeontologist. He's able to put his interest of Transformers and his job together.
Now what does this mean for us?
Like many of us here on Seibertron.com, Simone watched the Transformers Live Movies directed by Michael Bay. After seeing the movies, he was inspired to get a movie version of Grimlock done. Together with
3D Graphic Artist Sergio Rocco, they've done just that. Instead of the usual fleshed out robotic Grimlock that we're used to seeing, Simone thought it would be better if Movieverse Grimlock was based off a skeleton. Now together, they're here to show us their results. When the staff of Seibertron.com first saw the images, we were so mind blown that we just had to share this with everyone. Let's just say that this version of Grimlock would look mighty fine in
Transformers 3. See Grimlock in all of it's glory below.
Sergio Rocco's website can be found
here. If you have any Transformers related work, whether it be customized toys, pictures, or the occasional fan-fiction, feel free to post it in the
Transtopia Forums!

The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.
These are some of those stories. This is:
It should be noted that while this project has been recognized by IDW Publishing and Hasbro, none of the works presented have been commissioned or solicited by either company. The stories are not official canon, except where noted. These stories are the result of Transformers enthusiasts taking the time out of their busy days to contribute to a universe they love. No one has been paid for the production of these stories.

The world renowned
toy galleries of
Seibertron.com have been updated with two Voyager class figures -
Mindwipe and
Defender Optimus Prime. Formally the two are known as 2010 Voyager Wave 2, and fictionally they are sworn enemies as the battles from the N.E.S.T. Global Alliance start to escalate.
Mindwipe is a brand new figure, taking the form of a F-117 Nighthawk. He can interact and combine with Scout Class figure Skystalker, another figure you'll see in the galleries shortly.
Defender Optimus Prime is a redeco of Revenge of the Fallen
Voyager Optimus Prime, the paint changing from the regular red and navy blue of Prime, to grey and blue. You can check out both of the figure's galleries in the links below.
Mindwipe
Defender Optimus Prime
If you spot the Voyagers at retail, please help others out by filling out the sighting pages for
Mindwipe and
Defender Optimus Prime. Not much of a retail hunter? Then site sponsor BigBadToyStore can help you with orders for
both figures.

As we embark into February and another month of Transformers fun, we've decided to kick things off with a little something special for you Seibertronians. In collaboration with the fine folks at
Mastermind Creations, Seibertron.com has been given permission to host a stunning
88 image gallery of their future product,
KM-01 Knight Morpher Commander. This toy was made in inspiration of
Hearts of Steel, a four issue miniseries from IDW Publishing pencilled by Guido Guidi. Among the dozens of images are photos of the packaging, the crisp alternate mode, the weapons which include a lance, shield, and blaster, as well as Knight Morpher Commander himself. Feast your eyes on this third party product below.
The gallery of
Knight Morpher Commander in all of it's entirety and the rest of the batch of images can be seen
