We have official pics of the second set from the Dramatic Capture Series, which has Mainframe, Jazz and Optimus Prime in his cartoon accurate white crotch deco. This is not an exclusive set, meaning that it can be purchased from any Japanese retailer. It can also be imported to Hasbro Pulse, though it is not on their site yet.

While there is no deluxe class in the upcoming Transformers One movie line, there is the Prime Changer class which is pretty close to what we'd call a deluxe, though still solely targeting kids like warrior class toys. We had seen a few images of Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime, but now we can see their alt modes. Sentinel’s looks nothing like what they show on the box so that box image may have been repurposed artwork. We have yet to see his alt mode clearly in the film.
Test screenings for the upcoming Transformers One film have already taken place. This is when a test audience is shown a film in advance so that the director and producers can get an idea of how audiences will react to the film later and if further editing should be done, depending on the points brought up by the audience.
While no one has leaked what they have seen, Grace Randoplh, who gets insider info from the movie industry through multiple sources, has gotten wind that the test screenings for Transformers One have gone "extraordinarily well". That means those who saw it responded very well to it. This is great news, since while the film may not be every fan's cup of tea, it does mean that families, the target audience, will more than likely enjoy the film. And we'll see if that translates to box office gold or not. In any case, this is an encouraging development in this phase of our beloved brand.
Grace mentioned the test screenings in her video discussing Chris Hemsworth's probable casting in the upcoming GI Joe/Transformers crossover film.

Looks like Paramount is going full steam ahead with the Transformers GI Joe crossover movie. According to Variety, Chris Hemsworth is in talks with Paramount to star in the film. Howevever, the film has yet to find a director or writer. The only people confirmed to be involved with the film are Lorenzo Di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, who are acting as producers. Steven Spielberg and Hasbro Entertainment will executive produce.
And yes, that would make Chris Hemsworth the new face of the brand since he also voices Orion Pax/Optimus Prime in Transformers One.
Transformers fans have been taken for a loop lately since information and misinformation is coming from every direction for the Earthspark line.
Rumours Regarding the Show Itself
When it comes to the show, there were rumours that another show was under development. While that is yet to be proven true or false, it brought upon a ton of theories regarding the current show, Earthspark. As of now, all we know is that Paramount ordered two seasons and we are getting two seasons. We do not know if a third season will be coming or how many seasons were planned. A new show is probably in development but that does not mean that it is in response to Earthspark's performance. It may be that the new show is made ot be more in line with the next phase of the TF franchise, now that Transformers One moves it into a new era.
The Mistranslation that Created Misinformation
Now adding to this was a mistranslation of a Japanese site summarizing what they read in a magazine (so already there we have 2 levels of being stray from the actual source). While some fans interpreted the quote to say that the Earthspark line in Japan was cancelled, the actual quote from the magazine said that the deluxe Prowl figure was cancelled. The line itself is not over in Japan, and instead we are getting something that fans have asked for a very long time: Takara exclusive toys.
Which of the New Toys Revealed Today are Exclusives?
Remember the Transformers Go line, where Takara retooled Hasbro toys exclusive to their market? Well those days are back. DX Elita-1 is not really a deluxe Elita 1 figure. It is instead the warrior class toy we got in the first wave from Hasbro but retooled so that the weapon gimmick is removed and so that her head can swivel. She also gets a great deco treatment. So Takara basically turned a warrior class into a deluxe figure. They are doing the same with Hashtag, which as you can see below has been retooled to remove the combining gimmick of the warrior class figure we are about to get from Hasbro.
Those two toys will not be released in the US or other Hasbro markets, they are exclusive to Japan. And since collector sites are not importing this line, anyone who wants these exclusives have to buy them from a Japanese outlet like Amazon Japan (links below). The two other toys shown today, Aftermath and Jawbreaker, are actual deluxe class toys we will be getting from Hasbro. We have their listings, they are coming out later this year. However, their deco will not be as detailed as the Takara versions. So if you want this exact deco, then once again you must order from Amazon japan or another Japanese online retailer.
Hopefully this helped a bit, if ever there are questions not addressed, feel free to join us in the message boards.
TL DR
- There is still an entire season of Earthspark to watch for anyone interested, we do not know if there will be a third season, or if one was even planned.
- The only thing cancelled, either by Hasbro or Takara is the deluxe Prowl toy, which was a redeco of the previously released Cyberverse deluxe Prowl. The Earthspark line is not cancelled anywhere.
- DX Elita 1 and DX Hashtag are Takara exclusive retools and redecos of warrior figures we either already got or will be getting from Hasbro
- DX Aftermath and DX Jawbreaker are molds that Hasbro will also be releasing but their decos will be slightly different
There is no deluxe class in the upcoming Transformers One movie line. Instead, deluxe class figures will be found in the Studio Series line. However, there is the Prime Changer class which is pretty close to what we'd call a deluxe, though still solely targeting kids like warrior class toys. Hasbro had previously revealed Optimus Prime and Alpha Trion but now we can also see Bumblebee and Sentinel Prime for the first time.

Unlike what was falsely reported on other Transformers fan sites, the Earthspark line is still alive and well in Japan. We even have some brand new reveals to share with you with Takara revealing the upcoming deluxe Aftermath and Jawbreaker toys. While we should get these toys in the west, their decos may be different.
They also revealed their version of warrior Elita One, whose head can now swivel, and Hashtag.
Emails are being sent out via Amazon.jp informing people that the EarthSpark Deluxe Prowl figure will not be happening. This is supporting evidence found this past weekend when the Tomy-Takara Mall marked the anticipated release as "Discontinued" a little more than a month before its release. This figure was a surprise announcement, and was going to be a completely different release from Takara- utilizing the Cyberverse Deluxe Prowl mold, rather than the Cyberverse Deluxe Hotshot Mold that Hasbro repainted for Prowl.
It appears that only the Prowl release (ESD-10) has been cancelled because Thrash(Slash) (ESD-11) is showing available on the Tomy-Takara Mall site currently.
