The red carpet took take place in front of the venue prior to the special event with cast and filmmaker participants including Director Michael Bay, Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock, and Jerrod Carmichael. In conjunction with the Chicago Film Office, Mayor Emanuel was proud to premiere TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT in Chicago. This continues the upward trend of increased media production in the city, due to its active and growing film industry. The premiere took place along the Chicago River against the striking backdrop of one of the world's most iconic skylines.
